Took my motorcycle in to have a booster amp installed. Spoke to the owner and asked if they had any experience with my specific motorcycle and was told they install them all the time on that bike. He went on to sell his shop and to brag about all the experience they had and how good his technicians were. He quoted me $250.00 and thats what I agreed to. When I went to pick the bike up, one of his employees tried to charge me $350.00. When I mentioned that the owner had quoted me $250.00 he said that every motorcycle is different and it took longer than expected. I told him it was pretty much a stock bike and that I had specifically asked the owner if they had installed on my exact model motorcycle and was told yes. I then asked what specifically had made it take longer than they expected and he could not come up with an answer. He then called the owner on the phone and had a discussion with him about it. When he hung up, he acted as if they were doing me a big favor by only charging me the $250.00 the owner quoted me. They did a good job on the install and I havent had any issues. I would strongly recommend if going here that you get their quote in writing and if they try and "bump" the price, stand firm on what you were quoted and ask specifically what was unusual about your install as opposed to another vehicle exactly like the one they quoted.

I just wanted to take a moment and pass on a very positive experience that I received while conducting business with Safe and Sound Mobile Electronics. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a quality replacement radio system for my 2009 Toyota Four Runner. I settled on the Alpine INE-92HD unit, in addition to the unit. I also had the original steering wheel controls, as well as a backup camera added, and a USB iPod connection. I found the service to be outstanding, the installation. While it took somewhat longer than they anticipated, was excellent and done right the first time. They took extra time and trouble shooting a minor problem before it became a real one, and delivered a product that they can be proud of. The installation looked as if it was built into the vehicle from the factory. Overall, my experience with this organization has been excellent in both the quality of the installation as well as the quality of the product. I would have no reservations recommending the radio and or the staff at this business.

Took my Truck in for a fix,they diagnosed it and told me i had a broken amp that needed to be repaired.They took the amp out brought it back but to no avail(NO SOUND).There was no sound.Tim told me he had to test other parts as well to make sure the fault was from other sources as well,which i complied and gave them my truck.After back and forth communications which lasted two months they came back to me and said they cannot fix the problem and that i should take my truck to Range Rover Dealer.I got my truck back with no sound like it was before.After thier TALK TALK TALK about diagnosis and pointed my amp was bad and paying a fee of 1300 i was told to take my truck away and that they had done what they had to do.My question is if you can fix it dont lead people on and waste time.I need a refund of my money,take your labor charges and refund me what is due me.I what the world to see what you guys are doing.I will advise folks out there,do NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS!!!

Amps stolen from my vehicle, went here for a insurance company estimate shop dog (jessy I believe) acted like I was not important so I had to wait for him to finish whatever hes was doing on the computer (facebook probably) finally I explained my situation and missing and damaged equipment to him. Then he did not want to give me a price for repairs and replaced equipment, he kept saying they needed to bring the vehicle in and do a $75 diagnosis even after I explained the list of items to replace. After a 30 min visit I left with a attitude and no written estimate for the insurance company. What a waste of time. This place treats people like this all the time. My suggestion is to go to Manassas park and get the best service in Manassas. Please everyone post your experience.

It seems that people only ever leave a review when they are dissatisfied, and since I base where I shop on reviews, I hope that my review helps you make an informed decision. The professionalism, attention to detail and customer focus are absolutely outstanding. If you want it done right the FIRST time, and want someone that stands behind their work, look no further. They fixed the shoddy work on my car (done elsewhere) and did a very discrete install on a JL Audio 900/5 amp. Its less expensive to have it sdone right the first time! Im going back this spring for custom gauge work, a Viper alarm and a new Kenwood double-din deck on a very custom G-35 coupe show tuner - I wouldnt trust anyone else to do the work! Cheers!

Safe and Sound installed a VIPER (alarm, remote lock/unlock, and remote start) system in my car (Honda Passport) and my daughters car (Honda CRV) back in 2008. These guys are not the cheapest in town, but they are worth the money. They did an excellent job on the install, finished when they said, no damage to anything else, and they provide good service after the install. My remote antenna got loose, and the whole system started acting weird. I took it in, and they fixed it FOR FREE while I waited. They were also good about answering my questions over the phone (both before and after the install). I would go back again, and would feel comfy recommending them to my friends and family.

Good, honest people. A few months ago I brought them a very difficult problem with a factory alarm system in my Explorer. My usual mechanic had no idea, and the local Ford dealer was clueless as well. The folks at Safe and Sound were not able to fix it permanently, but they did tell me about a useful workaround that keeps my alarm from waking the neighbors at night. Moreover, they did not charge me a penny after taking most of a day looking at my vehicle. I feel confident saying that these guys will do the work right, or else not do it all, and they will be fair and up front about it either way. I recommend them to anyone.

I consider myself a very picky person. I drove an hour on the recommendation of a good friend that had a lot of work done by these guys. It was worth every minute of the car ride there. They were pleasant to deal with, and their prices were as good as the "box stores" (Best Buy, Tweeter, Circuit City). But unlike the "box stores", these guys know what they were talking about and what theyre doing. They were helpful, accommodating, and the attention to detail was excellent. I would never let a "box store mechanic" in my Mercedes anyway. My system looks and sounds great!!

Service was great. My one grip. My appointment was at 2 came back at 4 to check on my truck. Still sitting in the front. They ran into some problems, not thier fault but when I showed up at 730 truck was still not done due to issues, once again not thier fault. But it would have been nice to get a phone call or text with some type of update. Other than that. They are good. Will be going back for leather seats and heated seats.
