Superb customer service and merchandise. My husband blew out his15 year old Asolo boots while in Shenandoah National Park on Friday. I did a quick Google Search, called, spoke with Linda who held two pairs of boots which met his needs perfectly.He drove down to the store and Linda was great and very understanding and helpful while easily handling all of her customers. He bought a great pair of North Face Hiking boots at a great price. Less than an hour an a half later he was back in the park and ready to go. The boots fit perfectly without any rubbing after two days of tough hiking. Cant beat that!

Stopped in late (almost closing time) on Saturday, 4/16 and Elise spent time with me talking about the gear I was looking to purchase, as well as other stuff about the area. I did not feel rushed and walked out of there with the gear I was looking for--along with reaffirmation of why we need to shop local gear shops and not support REI and the other chains that are trying to destroy the local shops. If you are in that area or coming off the AT and need gear, advice or some kind words stop by this place. Great experience and great shop. Thank you!

This is a fantastic store where the owner and manager are super friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. There are tons of quality camping items. Similar to bass pro shops in pricing. They were so welcoming and kind to me, my wife and our puppy. Will definitely be back!

My bikes rear tire punctured three times from gravel on skyline drive. AOA doesnt sell bike tires but new tubes and a roll of duct tape were enough to limp back to my car. Very grateful for their help!
