I went into the store to do some Christmas shopping. And I was in a rush so didnt really pay attention at check out so that part is my fault. But when I got home I noticed that two items that were buy one get one free didnt ring up as such and a tactical flashlight that was on sale for 39.99 rang up at 69.99. So thats $56.00 that was charged to my card that shouldnt have been. I called the store and all I was told was to bring backy receipt and products and they will ring them up correctly. I was told there wasnt anything they could do without me being in the store. I was also told through the online chat that there wasnt anything they could do for me because I didnt purchase anything online. So now I have to drive a total of 60 miles round trip back to the store just to fix their mistake. So thats miles on my car plus my gas. Im not happy with the customer service at all.

Terrible customer service. They failed to return my drivers license after gun purchase. Got home and called at once asking to speak to a manager. No answer left message I need my license the next day for photo ID to attend meeting. NO call back. I call again after a few days and I am told manager is gone for a week. I am then told my license is in mangers safe and NO can/will help me. After one week manager called and says yep, Ive got your license. 10 days after purchase. I had to go to DMV and waste the day getting a replacement license. Terrible experience and manager never apologized.

I came in and said I was there to buy a certain $3,400 shotgun. I knew exactly what I wanted so there wasnt any discussion or haggling. It was a distinct item and I bought it. I was pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed to buy other things I expressed zero interest in having (just costly) viewing me as some "cash cow." I was keeping to a certain budget, and they would not respect that. As the background check was run, I signed the transfer papers, and the sale associate exclaimed "time to get paid!" I was so mad.

Terrible terrible store and online service....first they gave me shoes with fungus all over, so I returned and ordered another one. They accepted the order, waited for a while and then told me that they do not have the shoes now. The whole process took 1 month and all I got was "we apologize". My mistake I went to this store, not again! Too bad there are no negative stars, this store does not deserve one star! An update: the "Response from the owner" below is an eyewash, no response to my e-mail!

This morning at 9:am I called GM. and asked the salesman what brands of 22 ammo they had for sale ..Man, was I flabbergasted when he replied, "I will sale you some ammo ONLY IF YOU BUY A GUN." can you believe that crap. 15 years of spending my hard earned money at Gander Mountain and some Jerk come across with this crap. He didnt even try to help in any way to sell me some ammo like telling me when or what surrounding GM store I could buy some. BAD DEAL,! Plus he was very rude.

Knowledge and plenty of it. At the time I write the article, there are several employees here that need a raise -- just to keep them from leaving. They have been extremely helpful with questions pertaining to firearms, archery, hunting, fishing, kayaks, camping, footwear, and clothing. There are more departments, but I havent had any questions about those yet. Still waiting on the "Made in USA" section of the store to be built but in the meantime, I am happy to shop here!

A truly massive store (think Home Depot for wilderness and nature enthusiasts) holds everything you would possibly need for an outdoor adventure. Hunting, fishing, camping, sports, hiking, and more are all covered thoroughly. Prices are just a little high, but you won;t have to go to a second location to get what you need from a place like this. They also kindly offered me pallets when I asked, and not everyone does.

Poor customer service. Geared towards men. I went in to this store looking for hiking boots. I looked around for the boots and for someone to assist me. An employee walked right by me, looking me in the eyes, but not stopping to help me. I stood and walked around looking for help. I saw the employee who had ignored me immediately come to assist a man who walked into the shoe dept. I will not return to this store.

I was called an assh*le by the guy behind the gun counter. He said "I like military guys that arent assh*les". I had a unique situation with my ID, instead of trying to help and figure out if he could sell the gun he got mad at me and told me to find someone who could prove I could purchase it. Whatever, theyre going out of business so hopefully that guy doesnt find his way into another customer service job.

Even their liquidation sale prices are higher than anywhere else. The % off categories are strange and many time dont correspond with the items under the sign. There are a few good deals hear and there, but overall its a waste of time

Shopped here with my boys last week and they loved it. Lots of fishing things that they loved as well as a million other hunting and camping items. I was gladly surprised at the amount of clothes and shoes they carry as well.

The are liquidating inventory and some will stay open so check out what they have left if you need some outdoor gear. Got a few good deals on things we were looking for.
