I was in Va. to complete arrangements for a family wedding........Michaels is my "go to" store in Florida. I was delighted to be assisted by a lovely associate named Janet........she was helpful, pleasant, and went out of her way to get answers to my questions. It was not until I got to the check out that my experience turned sour. The manager on duty, Rosemary, was abrupt, dismissive, and rude........customer service clearly not a priority. Since I do business with Michaels on a frequent basis I am familiar with their policy of customer satisfaction..........Rosemary clearly has not been informed or being informed does not care. Janet gets an A+........Rosemary should choose an occupation more suited to her lack of personality...............retail sales will not miss her.

Signed up for a decorating class and they wrote me down for the wrong time, even though i had a print out from when i signed up saying i had the evening class. The teacher never showed up and the manager stated that Wilton requires there needs to be 4 people per class, which I understand. The issue is that I was the only one in the class, they had my number, and no one reached out to me so I sat there for 20 minutes waiting. The manager said shed give the instructer my number but I never received a call from her which means I just wasted time and money on the class that I wont be getting back. I may still shop here, but I will not be taking another class here again.

As far as customer service they do need a friendly staff. Whether in store or on the phone I encountered with rude or bad customer service. However I do love their prices, coupons, sales, and return policy. If they changed their staff up a bit they would receive better reviews.

Much like other Michaels stores, its difficult to find a staff member to help you, but the staff is very knowledgeable. Just about everything is extremely overpriced, unless you exclusively purchase 40+% off. Very fun to window shop and great for craft ideas.

I wish I could give them no stars this was the worst customer Service experience I ever had . I came in to get a bunch of stuff and the service was so bad I just left it all there I will never be returning to this Michaels again

Michaels has a great selection of crafting supplies. I love walking around the store just to get ideas of what to craft.
