I went to Safeway at the baileys shopping senter . I had a pleasant experience in the bakery. The ladies was very helpful and nice. When I got to the register the cashier YAMEL did not look happy to be there . I said good morining and she said it with attitude. Then she proceed to ring.me up I told her I had bollio she said no hs not and open bag. She then puts her hand inside bag. I told her I have four bollio. She says no its not bollio . so she calls the bakery. The lady come and told her it was bollio. I was so mad she dosent known the deference. She then tells me people come in store and say they have bollio but get something else. I told her I am not them. I was so upset I will never go back to Safeway again.

I was at the store Yesterday January 03, 2017 baileys cross roads. I had to use their restroom and I ran into one of their employees exiting the restroom and not even bothering to wash her hands. I asked for her name she didnt want to answer I followed her to the bakery and asked for her bakery manager. She said SHE IS THE MANAGER, Ive been calling their store today to let the store manager know about this issue but they keep hanging up the phone saying the manager on conference or at the register. Imagine someone like that baking your bread or cakes or your kids cupcakes. This is very discussing and I will keep calling and will call HR to take this further.

We have lived near here for 3 years. This place has gone downhill and fast. I only come here if I need one or two things because I go elsewhere for my regular trips now. It is currently 7:00 pm and they have 2 lines open. TWO. The lines are halfway down the aisles. This is not the only time this has happened. Fruit is often rotten, they had to take the self checkouts out because of credit card skimmers, service is always slow, etc etc. I cant wait to move. Edit ౩/21/2017. Here again at 7:45 out of necessity. 2 registers are open AGAIN. 2 very long lines.

I have shopped here on and off for years and I use to go here 2-3 times a week. It has the products and we love their bakery but the service lines are terrible and keep getting worse especially when they took out the self service lines so I avoid it for this reason because you never know what line is open and they never have more than one or 2 lines open with always 4-5 people in line. They just dont have the service. Buy light bulbs too because your cashiers never turn the lights on so you can know if their line is open

Cashier argued with 2 customers over use if coupons then left register to show another customer (of her same ethnicity) the location of an item somewhere in the store. This left myself and 2 other customers just waiting??? Manager/customer service person just said "Oh, she will back.". To which I said that I would not. Just left my items on the belt and walked out. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because there was a good selection of items in all categories... If you get the chance to checkout.

This store only gets one star because of the location, its less than a mile from where I live however, from this point on I will gladly drive countless miles to spend my money elsewhere. Regardless of what time of day you visit this place, the lines are ridiculously long with no sense of urgency from the cashiers to hurry the packed lines, the cashiers are usually unprofessional and without fail, I leave this store angry every visit! I definitely will NOT be back at this place!!!

Terrible customer service. I had a coupon that they wouldnt honor.after a brief exchange I said it was fine and asked them to just let me check out. The manager continued to explain why he couldnt take the coupon and even after I said it was fine multiple times would not let me check out until hed finished an unnecessary explanation. The coupon was for a dollar so I didnt really care, but it was just a waste of time and who wants such a negative experience over $1

Went to this store on Sunday and there were no shopping carts in the store, which is very inconvenient for people with small children. Used the bathroom and the paper towel dispenser was broken and one of the stalls had toilet paper all over the floor with feces on it. I stood by customer service for 10 minutes to complain and no one showed up. Discusting store I will never go back.

Long checkout lines JUST LEFT TRADER JOES SMALLER STORE, BUT HAD 8 Check out lines open. Store is dirty, employees, and management blame all the problems on upper management. No such thing as customer service. This store is an embarrassment to the Safeway Corp. Showed attached photo ((bug in fresh cut fruit section) employee shrugged there shoulders and walked away..

I tried to get balloons blown up for a small gift for the make a wish foundation this morning. I called previously to make sure Id be able to get assistance asap bc I have to still drive to work. It has been 20 minutes and the gentleman is walking around the store to get me someone. This is unacceptable and quite annoying.

The selection of food is good. The prices are good. The service is HORRIBLE. And if you complain, you will get nothing but excuses from the so called manager. If I have time, I try to go to another location even though I live closer to this one. Ill say it again......the service here is HORRIBLE.

Employees are friendly-its slow up front but to be expected because so many people go here.Store is a bit lively, theye alot of children running around. I feel loyal to this store because if I needed help finding or getting an item, employees in the back are always helpful

There are never more than 2 registers opened at a time and on top of that they removed the self checkouts. So youll never be there less than 15 minutes even if youre just buying a candy bar. Please hire more employees to work the registers.

I have complained NUMEROUS times about their complete refusal to open more than 2 or 3 lanes. Yet here we are again on a FRIDAY NIGHT and they have 3 lanes open and lines 10 people deep with full carts. Never shopping here again.

Every time I visit this store, the lines to check out are too long. Several times Ive left without shopping, the times Ive stayed and waited, I hear customers around me complaining about the time they have to wait to checkout.

Checkout is to slow. And they removed self checkout. Expensive too. Seems to be a dollar or more than what I can find at other stores. Prepared food and baked goods are not that great. Seems to be cheap/cutting corners.

An exciting way to waste a half hour of your day waiting in line. The cashiers are pleasant and helpful but way overworked, and the wait in line goes from 10-15 min in my experience. Skip it.
