Every time I needed a bouquet of flowers delivered to my girlfriend I would call Hedge and give them the same speech: "I know nothing about flowers. My girlfriend likes gerber daisies if those are in season, otherwise please do your magic! I have a budget of $xx.xx." Every order was easy to place and the service was polite and efficient. My girlfriend was always so happy to see the beautiful seasonal arrangements that Hedge delivered. When we were planning our wedding there was no question, we would be using Hedge without a doubt. A few months before the big day we met with Karen at the Downtown shop and she walked us through everything they could do for us, what would be in season six months down the line, etc. We got married at Ash Lawn and the flowers were perfect. From the arrangements down the aisle, boutonnieres, bridal bouquets and center pieces, everything was just as we discussed with little touches (like some surprise gerber daisies) that we never would have thought of. The staff at hedge delivered everything on time and right on budget. I cant recommend Hedge enough whether it be for a simple bouquet delivery to the big day, they can do it all!

I adore this shop so much that I now have them deliver flowers to my office every two weeks! Their flowers are always fresh and beautiful, and arranged in a vase in a natural looking way, not stuffed in foam. The designers pay attention to the little details, like favorite colors, flowers I dont like, etc. Going into the store is like walking into a European flower market! You can choose pieces to make a whole arrangement, or just a stem or two, and I ALWAYS find Karen & Karen super friendly, as well as any other staff Ive dealt with. For my wedding next year, I dont have to look for a florist - Hedge will be my first choice.

Im somewhat disappointed. I told the young lady working here that I wanted to spend only $15 for a mixed bouquet. She put together a nice bouquet and went to the register where she found that what she had put together was over my price range. She took away some of the flowers, which is understandable, and presented me with a slightly slimmer bouquet and said I owed $23. Needless to say I will happily drive the extra few miles across town and see my old, more personable friends at A New Leaf next time.

We used Hedge as our wedding florist and couldnt be happier! We worked with Wynne who helped us construct the perfect set of floral arrangements for our special day. Our ceremony incorporated both Christian and Hindu elements and Hedge provided a gorgeous set of garlands that blended both cultures beautifully. We also received a ton of compliments on my bridal & bridesmaid bouquets and our cocktail & reception center pieces. Thank you Wynne & Hedge Fine Blooms!

While I ended up buying a simple bouquet, the employee there was trying to push me into buying more flowers than I needed. And when I told her the size of my vase for the second time, she rudely said that I told her the first time that the size was different. I was disappointed by the service and unfriendliness and dont plan to go back. Whole Foods floral dept is by far better customer oriented!

Last minute birthday arrangement, amazing and graceful and lush, plus fun soaps and candles. I think I called every florist in cville before I found one with gourmet candles/soaps to include with the flowers, very ample flowers like peonies garden roses everything you will only find at a high end florist

I bought my prom flowers here. They were delicate, beautiful flowers. The florist knew just which flowers I should get as well. My girlfriend absolutely loved them.

I got a flower arrangement, delivered to my house when I put the glass vase on the counter it broke immediately. The flowers were way overpriced .
