Called a week in advance to order 10 foot long hoagies with all the toppings on the side. Harris Teeter Deli was great except when I called just before graduation they lost my order. After placing it a 2nd time they found the original. The Deli people were so apologetic I almost felt bad. The hoagies were excellent from the quality of the bread, to the meat, to the toppings and prepared exactly as I ordered, The cake was a hit. A fruit and cheese platter were also ordered. Everything was fresh and top quality. So glad I did not order from another chain. Thank you HT of Charlottesville, you made my reception a success.

Went to Harris Teeter for a bottled water sale, when I arrived there was a huge hole? It must have been 10 foot long. Scanned around other parts of store and there were holes everywhere. Sold out of everything? Never mind, I did not want to buy your overpriced product anyway. Store was a ghost town. No managers, no customer service? The place has gone downhill! Went somewhere else!!!

Please teach your employees on what is consider an acceptable I.D. Its a shame and frustrating that not one but two of your employees didnt know a Permanent Resident Card is a proper and acceptable form of I.D. One even mention she had never heard nor seen of this card. I find that sad and unacceptable, this a public place, get educated.

This store supposedly gives good customer service, which is why they charge twice what other grocery stores charge. What a joke! I have never seen more incompetent, rude, and lazy employees any where! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT visit this overpriced store. The Kroger a block away has much friendlier employees and better prices!

It carries a lot of products. It has good sales. I cant give it 5 stars because their 20% wine discount never works at checkout. Then a manager has to come over and show that he doesnt trust me until I show him the email. Ive complained on the 800 number but it never makes a difference.

I like Harris Teeter, but Im not sure why people go here instead of Kroger, which is in the same shopping center. Krogers prices are consistently better than Harris Teeters. At HT you pay upscale prices for the same products you can get at Kroger for 10-20% less.

This place literally has a lot of options in terms of daily groceries and stuff. And the fact, that they have a really nice salad bar and also a sandwich and sub deli place makes this place a very nice option for a quick breakfast or brunch.

Prices seem to be a little higher than the average grocery store due to its close location to UVa. Customer service could also be improved. Employee took 10+ minutes fixing the self-checkout machine, which dont happen to be very reliable.

solid grocery store. good selections on: micro-brew beer, vegetarian frozen food, fresh produce (including fresh basil and fresh mozzarella!), cat food. a very nice and large salad bar, as well as pizza and fresh bread offerings.

I do not like any Virginia grocery stores. Its great Harris Teeter is open 24 hours, but its just not a great grocery store. The store layout doesnt make sense, and there isnt much organic produce. The free samples are nice.
