I recently had a wonderful experience from Teri in the bakery section. Our quilt guild is celebrating their 35th anniversary. I ordered a cake from Teri and asked her to maybe put a little quilt design in the corner of the cake. This cake was for the quilters that meet in the evening. When we picked the cake up the whole top was a quilt design!! And in each square was a little sugar decoration. Each block had its own decoration. One was a high heeled shoe, butterfly, purse, etc. It was so pretty and bright. Everyone at the party really got a kick out of seeing what Teri made. Our day time quilters are celebrating the anniversary next Wednesday. This cake is bigger, since we have more people come in the daytime than the night time meeting. I asked Teri to do the exact same design. Cant wait to have the day time members see the cake. I will definately tell my friends what a wonderful service Teri and the other ladies in the Bakery provide. Thanks so much.

ONLY GAME IN TOWN! Food lion NEVER had a good reputation since its inception. When your competition is the dollar general/store, or the IGA and/or Pittmans in Hancock, Food Lion is JUST as good. Pittmans has better produce, but in a major farming community it is amazing that there are no farmers supplying FRESH local produce to this store. I have seen THAT done in MAJOR city super markets. Whomever the buyer is does not have the leeway or their budget is restrained from purchasing similar items which are sold at the sister stores, Giant and Martins. The selection is sub-par. Take their cheese section, PLEASE, and get rid of it for starters! Most of the people are awesome there, and friendly as can be. Still doesnt help the food!

Friendly staff, but the store is small and a bit rundown. But it is the only store in Berkeley Springs. Nice staff generally, but a lot of kids who are too young to ring up beer and wine, so you have to wait until an adult csn come over.

I love food lion now because of this location! They had a great selection of quality foods at affordable prices. The atmosphere was really nice and they had lots of great coupons. Great place!

Its convenient to have a grocery so close to home, but theres no soup bar. Sometimes a man wants to get something hot to go without the whole restaurant thing, this isnt the place.

I now get most of my food delivered because this is the only Supermarket near me and does not carry a good selection. Everything is fresh and clean than very middle of the road.

Prices are a little high but th selection is the best in the area. It is clean and well kept. Some of the staff is fabulous, some of them could use a smile.

As always love food lion and their prices maybe shop n save should take lessons cause they are 2-3 more will stay with food lion unless one isnt close by

Food lion is the only chain for miles and miles so there in minor choices. Thier avocados always have that refrigerator consistently. But it is clean.

The employees at this Food Lion are very good at their job. They will help you when asked. They are very focused in their job, but they do so happily.
