Food: I usually like wegmans, but honestly I am a broke college student and the fruits and veggies are way overpriced. I bought grape tomatoes and grapes there and they were both rotted in the middle. It was disgusting! It was expensive on top of because they claim everything is "organic." What a scam! You know most of the fruit is genetically modified. Another thing that bugs me is that I have applied there plenty of times and they NEVER call back. I am persistent and have good job qualifications. My boy friend who is way over qualified and applied for a job he has years of experience in, didnt get a call back. They like to hire people they already know or know someone of. I also know that being told through friends, a lot of the positions they post online for the bakery or lets say dish-washing; they give to former cashiers who are sick of that job. Like why bother posting online about the job if you are going to do this. The place is definitely NOT as GREAT as every dimwitted and gullible person seem to believe.

I moved out of Texas since 01/2010 which I thought Walmart be the best store to shop at thats BEFORE I heard of Wegmans store. The first time I walked into Wegmans the whole store had a warm welcome to it as it had warm earth colors. I notice with Wegmans that people who work there are super helpful when it comes to finding stuff also I notice prices on food where super low too as in some cases even lower then Walmart. The check out people at WEGMANS are FAST UNLIKE WALMART that tends to be VERY SLOW. I notice something that since I found Wegmans store that I NEVER KNEW how much WALMART SUCK BIG TIME!!!

very rude cashiers..... i know someone who worked there and quit because everyone was very immature and running around the store giving out personal information about how she got fired when she didnt. this place is full of rich drama kids and they only hire people with multicolored hair as it seems lol but they wouldnt hire me with experience! dont go to jolie! rudest cashier ! i do not like this wegmans at all and id rather go to another one ! i have never seen a bunch of cashiers who are so full of themselves

THIS Wegmans is horrible! It is always out of stuff, their fruit selection is lacking, not to mention tons of it is rotten! Mangos - rotten, Avacados- rotten, clementines- rotten with MOLD on them! ( Just to name a few things) Their rolls in their bakery- everything was hard, and this isnt the first time all of this has been experienced- seriously this cant be a Wegmans- cuz a Wegmans would never have such horrible selections of food- on so many levels!

Wegmans is always a highly rated place and theres a reason for that. It feels nice, the workers are friendly, and the little things make the experience better. Things like milk are right up front so you can grab and go. The food is always fresh and tastes great, and its almost always cheaper than Tops or another place. I dont know why anyone goes anywhere else

Cafe food was not that great. Had General Tsos Chicken, noodlesand Pork Egg Roll in the heated section and it was still cold had to Nuke them. Taste was bland with everything, the egg roll was mushy on the inside. The Cafe at the Sheridan Drive location in Amherst is the only Delicious and Inviting of all the Wegmans in Erie County.

Best selection of organic foods if you cant make it to the co-op! Very good quality fruits and veggies some of which is grown by local farmers. I prefer buying from locals. Ambiance is that of a General Store but size is huge. Lighting is less institutional. Thank goodness. Love Weggies. Prices are moderate to expensive.

Quality of produce is always superb. Selection is great. Staff is friendly. Checkout sometimes takes a bit longer than other stores, but that is due to so many locals shopping there. Prices are a bit higher then some other supermarkets, but if you are looking for quality they have you covered.

Great store! Really good selection of food, includes a pretty extensive gluten-free aisle. I love all of the unique ingredients they have stocked. You pay a bit of a premium, but there are still deals to be found if you look hard enough. Very clean, and the employees are usually very nice.

A wonderful assortment of goods and products that you can buy anytime. The store is laid out very nicely, with its own cafe with many options to eat! Cashiers are usually friendly and management staff are usually seen around. A great place for food shopping and very family-friendly!

Great store for organic products and more variety than most typical grocery stores. They also have a huge buffet area but they close pretty early. Call ahead to make sure the food is still out. This is a big store with a big selection and stock of food.

It was a very plesant experience. Went at 11pm on a Wednesday, low volume in the aisles. Super friendly cashier. Not to mention their prices beat Tops (personally boycotting them for price gouging). A+ Wegmans. Dont change a thing.

This is no knock on Wegmans as a company, its the best!! But if I have the option Im going to any other Wegmans location in the area. This store is so busy all the time, it really needs a remodel. The floor plan is so cluttered!

Not my favorite Wegmans. Limited selection, a lot of what was out seemed old. Every tulip in the floral department looked like it was on its last legs. No fresh squeezed OJ. Very limited selection of seafood.

If you havent been to Wegmans, you havent been to one of the best supermarkets and companies in the US. Ask a Buffalonian what they miss most when they move out of town and Wegmans will be in their top 3.

I love Wegmans. Great produce, great variety in the aisles, decent sushi, employees are friendly. This location carries NYX, my favorite drugstore cosmetic line. For that alone Id give them 5 stars.

Wegmans is always the best supermarket in any area. Always clean and well-stocked, the employees are always competent, friendly, and helpful. The prices may be a touch up scale, but it is worth it.

I shop here mostly for the ground beef and chicken breasts (lowest everyday price I know of), their pasta and frozen vegetables. I wish we had a store in Batavia.

Love shopping here. My complaint was with the produce. Onions were moldy. The worst ever. Meat department is awesome. Rib eye steaks are the best and good price
