This store/manager went out of his way in a BIG way to help a local feeding program for school children. An order that had been placed at the local ALDI and had been mishandled at a higher level, did not arrive on the scheduled time and appeared that it would not before our monthly food packing the following day. The manager and store members of this ALDI spent their evening and next morning making sure that we got the 13 skids of food that we needed to feed local school children. They served above and beyond for their community. They even helped us to unload the flatbed trailer, which they personally rented, while is poured rain. I would like to congratulate this manager and his staff for going the extra mile to assure that our local children had food to take home for weekends (over 800 children in the Berkeley & Jefferson Co area). It seems like madness when you go through checkout. You should be mindful of how you put your items on the belt because the cashiers move Soo fast and your stuff gets thrown in to an open cart for you to quickly get out of the registers way and bag up your stuff at an adjacent countertop. So make sure you bring your own bags... or you have to buy them too. Most items are not name brand, not to say the stuff isnt as good. My family likes it. The prices are great! You can get some really great off brand items, but they may get sold out within a week and not restocked for a long time after. Lots of organic options. And, you most likely will have to go to another store to finish your shopping to fill in what Aldi doesnt have in stock.

For those who cant afford Wal*Mart (as is EXPENSIVE) Food lion, Giants etc this is the store to go. Obviously ppl with $$ will talk crap about this store, but in the times that we are living today I think is a GREAT store and they might not have "Name Brand" stuff but everything Ive bought at Aldis is always good. They have a variety of stuff for the public to choose from and everyone there has ALWAYS been friendly to me. So thank you for Aldis and its prices because they are killing the competition and I will continue to shop there for as long as I can or for as long there is an Aldis around....good job!

I was actually surprised with this store. There are very few actual name brands for sale here, but most packages are nearly identical as the brands I am using to seeing in other grocery stores. The prices are also significantly less. I am dinging them a star for low selection and poor condition of some of their produce. Ill still be definitely be shopping here again.

Love this place! This company owns Trader Joes, and is known for excellent food at great prices. Much of their stock is "Aldi brands" but from experience I can say that it is ALL high quality and as good (or even better) than name brands. Great for staples and for snack-type foods.

For not well known brands their products are good in taste . Im sure with not well known brands they get them cheap too. Prices could be lowered because of that but to make money they just put them somewhat under Walmart and grocery store prices. Overall am satisfied with Aldis

Love this place. No-frills, but great products at amazing prices. Im from the MD suburbs of DC, and everything would have easily been 2x the price at Giant (and worse quality), if not more. Today was my first time, definitely not my last.

ALDI is great for all those special things that cost a fortune at major grocery stores, fancy cheeses, brats, and many German products. Dairy, local produce and canned goods are also very well priced. Be sure to check out the weekly ads, too.

Aldi is amazing! The food is frsh, they have seasonal foods from around the world and their brands are almost always better for your health. Also, they pay the staff a living wage (min of $12 an hour)which is why I never shop anywhere else.

I get a helluva humorous laugh from knuckleheads complaining about this European grocery chain. Did they march after Hillary lost? Come on folks. This place is great. Bring your own damn grocery bags, have fun, enjoy great prices! ;)

It might be worth it to pay a little more so produce isnt damage by cashiers slamming it into the carts! It is possible to be both fast and gentle, and so often Aldi cashiers are not. Request that he cashier be gentle on your produce!

I absolutely love....love Aldis! Such a great place, its clean and has a wonderful staff. You cannot beat their prices and they have a huge selection of Organic foods at reasonable prices. I am a frequent shopper here!

Love this specific Aldis. They have a lot broader selection than the other Aldis Ive been to. I can do almost all of my grocery shopping except for some specialty items in one place and the prices are great.

This place is always great. They are doing some remodeling, so some things are harder to find our arent in stock. But that happens everywhere. The customer service is spot on and theyre already friendly.
