I have been missing the old Dollar General Market on State Street. This is about half food items, with a LOT more food stuff than a typical (or what used to be typical) DG. I posted a picture with the cooler/freezer case, which goes the entire back of the store, while most stores used to have a cooler that was only a few doors wide. And there were a large number of cooler items that were marked half-price - I took a picture that had four half-price items in the same picture, and two more were just above the picture. And the regular prices were decent as they were.

I always like Dollar General. The only thing that is a negative to me is when they are stocking while Im shopping. It is just hard to get around and find what I need. There is always new faces working there, turn over seems very high. It is messy I think they have to put up with a lot of disrespectful customers. So I give them a break on a lot of things. It is a nice new bigger store. They are out of things I specifically go in there for many times as well. I still like it and I aint mad atem if you know what I mean.

This store is kind of disheveled and we werent greeted at all the entire time we were in the store even though an employee walked by we were not acknowledged at all.
