After getting a new perscription I went to this location because I was told they have an in-house lab and could do my glasses same day. And so the story begins. 1) They told me my lenses were in stock. But, the computers were down so Id have to come in the next day to do my business. After submitting the order, I was told they only had 1 of the 2 lenses and theyd have to order the other. I received a call a week later saying the other lens came in. I went in and was told the lens was defective and they sent it back. I got a call a week after that that said the new lenses that came in were ALSO defective. This made me nervous, how could so many defective lenses come out of the factory?? I finally got my lenses in a month after I went in. To their credit, they gave me a discount of around 15-20% for the hassle. 2) The saleswoman who helped me put a great deal of pressure on me to buy new frames. I wanted to, but didnt see any that I liked, so decided to keep the ones I had. She said "ill have to have your frames inspected to make sure they wont break when we put in the new lenses." She came back out and said "They look OK, but I cant guarantee anything. Im obligated to tell you there is a chance theyll break." Scare tactic much? I inquired if that was just a legal disclaimer or if that actually happens with some frequency, and she replied with the cryptic "some people are fine, others come back in 2 days with cracked glasses, so who knows." At this point I got suspicious, especially after I (lied) and told her my frames were only 6 months old; she continued to tell me the risks of not buying new frames. I went back two other times and saw different salespersons (when the lenses were defective I had my frames re-inspected), both of whom told me my frames were in great shape and wouldnt be a problem to keep. So beware of this sales scam. All in all, and this may be sad, its what I expected from a LensCrafters.

I unintentionally sat on my eyeglasses this morning. My backup glases were a few years old and not nearly as good. The first place I thought of to resolve my problem was LensCrafters at Ballston Common Mall, Virginia where I have done business before. Within 15 minutes my broken glasses were fixed with new stylish frames [on sale]. I was then able to use them to shop for a couple of hours throughout the Mall until my new prescription glasses [on sale] were assembled. Your employees were courteous, professional, and a life saver for me. I thanked them over and over again, as I was to be on vacation in Europe in a week. And, this all happened on a Sunday. Thank you LensCrafters for being there and having such a wonderful staff!! : ) : )

Great experience with Dayvon Henry I took my 70 year old mother in for new classes. Simply, Dayvon was very patient even when I was finding it hard to. He explained everything throughly and gave great advise. Thank you Lens Crafters!
