I frequent this store. You have to carefully select who you speak to or ask questions from. There are some people who are very knowledgeable and helpful, and others that act like they know and dont know anything.we went in to grab foot warmers and found one type. My fiance wanted the other type and when we asked the cashier she said they didnt carry the other type (after handing her the ones we had) we paid and were leaving and literally 6 feet from her register was another large display of warmers containing the ones she actually did want! Lol Ive had an employee point me to where something (in a condescending way) was when I asked and be completely wrong. If you dont know where something is admit it and ask someone. Dont act important and send someone in the exact opposite direction

I contacted this store regarding pellets. I was told they had three brands of pellets... one of which caught my interest. I asked about getting a ton of that brand of pellet and I was told "The customer has no say in which one of the three brands of pellets they get when they purchase. They get whatever we can get to the easiest." Needless to say, I will not be buying anything from them again. I dont patronize stores that tell the customer they dont have a say in what they are buying when they buy a product like this, If they have three different products in stock. When I go shopping for cereal, I dont expect the clerk to hand me a random box of cereal and tell me I dont have a say in what I get... this is no different. The manager should be fired.

Just terrible! Dont buy carpeting from this store! The installers never showed the first day they were scheduled which meant I took a whole day off work for nothing! I called upset and was promised that I would be first on the list for 3 days later and they would be there on time...nope! 3 hours later than they promised! Had to leave for work this time was assured "we do this all the time!" Got home to the worst install ever! When I called the store to complain I got "well what do want?" Then no calls back!!! Will NEVER buy carpeting or any other flooring from them again!

Called about a Riding tractor a day in advance Was told they had 2 Arrived at store was told thy sold both tractors in less then 12 hrs and the floor model was already payed for Bottom line They sold my tractor and tried to get me to buy a more exspensive one in return Worst place ever . Im so done with Home Depot This isnt the first time they did this to me. They screwed Mr on my pellets also during the season the winter and my family nearly froze to death

Very deceptive pricing on decorative wood molding.sign read 1.98 ea. No clear mention that it means linear foot.i was horrified at the register.i rightfully Should have been charged what the sign said,by Vermont state law.i declined the purchase.also i was charged full,price on behr paint that was clearly signed $24.99.no appologies or any attempt to correct it,by clearly the rudest cashier you folks have.I will be contacting corporate about these issues.

For some reason the directions to this Home Depot are completely wrong. It is not at the 911 address given on Rt 7 South in Rutland, VT near Green Mtn Plaza. It is in fact clearly marked on the google map on Rt 4 going east. Somebody needs to correct the address listing so the program will generate the right directions.

Horrible went in to ask electrical questions the first employee had no idea, called someone to help, after 10 mins we left no-one ever came. This is not the first time either. Pretty bad service for a Saturday night with nobody shopping
