I only entrust my fur-child to the attentive and affectionate staff of Play Dog Play. My dog has been coming to Play Dog Play since the very first day he was adopted – we stopped by to introduce ourselves on the way home! For over two years, I have utilized Play Dog Play’s daycare, boarding, and washing services. The options for partial-day daycare allow my schedule to be very flexible without impacting my pocket – the half day and school day being two of my favorites! I appreciate the name recognition every time we walk in the door as well as the daily updates about who my pup was especially fond of that day. When I travel, I appreciate the ability to check-in on my pup via the webcams installed throughout the facility – whether it be from my computer or the app I downloaded on my iPhone. It helps me to get my puppy fix when I miss him! Finally, I know for a fact that this is the cleanest facility around as I have personally seen behind the scenes and can tell that these are people that not only love their dogs, but love your dog as well. I highly recommend Play Dog Play for any dog as it’s irreplaceable in my pup’s life!!

We started taking our two dogs to Play Dog Play while we visited family in Vermont. At the time we had a senior mutt named Olive, dog of my heart, who was entirely deaf. We also had (and still have) Jeffrey, an incredibly over active and hard playing pit bull mix. Play Dog Play was always an excellent spot for our two somewhat special needs dogs. The owners and staff took extra care that Olive was engaged and happy despite her age and disability. They were calm and loving towards her. Jeffrey was always delightfully worn out when we came to get him and Play Dog managed to keep his giant personality in check with other dogs. After Olive passed away last year, we stared bringing our newly adopted Corgi mix named Bean with us when we came north. Play dog was actually the first place we socialized Bean after she came to us from an Austin animal shelter. She was eased in to new situations with thought and ease. There are very few individuals or kennels that Im willing to trust with my dogs, but Play Dog Play tops the list.

I’ve been taking my dog to Play Dog Play once a week for daycare for about a year now. I’ve also used them for boarding. It’s a happy and clean environment and you can tell that the people who work there are all animal lovers who really like their jobs. They consistently recognize me and know my dog’s name even though we’re only there once a week. Theyll usually tell me little pieces of information about my dogs day when I pick her up (who she played with, how long she slept, something funny that she did, etc.) There are something like 6 or 7 webcams for you to check in on your dog, and their lobby also functions as a very well-stocked pet store. I trust and highly recommend Play Dog Play. Just make sure you call ahead to schedule daycare and boarding – they’re a popular place!

This place is awesome! They genuinely love dogs and care about their clients. It is incredibly clean and the dogs are never left unattended. The owners are present daily and clearly take great pride in their business. We will not take our dog anywhere else in VT! We love the webcams so we can see who our little pup is playing with and that we can see what is going on while we are not there. Our dog has boarded and has done doggie daycare. Every time we pick her up, she is exhausted from playing. She has never shown any signs of being mistreated, injury or illness. Hands down, this is the best doggie daycare in the area. Second to none.

Amazing place to send your dog to day care or board. The staff is friendly, centered around what is best for your individual dog, the dogs interact in a controlled way, and I always pick up one tired pup at the end of the day! Our dog did not do well at other Day Cares but we have had zero problems at PDP. They make sure they monitor her water intake, give her breaks, and keep her safe. Even better when we board her they send us pictures just to let us know how she is doing. Have you checked out their Instagram or Facebook page? PDP is a fantastically run business. We love Play Dog Play.

After an unexpected family tragedy, the staff at Play Dog Play lacked complete empathy and understanding regarding the situation and an in-home boarding reservation. The front desk staff was rude and short with me after several phone calls. I had used PDP several times in the past but after this situation, would not recommend them to anyone in the Burlington area.

Lola Evans LOVES going there, so much so that she comes home completely exhausted from playing herself silly. I dont have to worry about my beautiful little girl one second, and it is reasonably priced as well.
