I am visiting this area on an 8 day business trip and I brought my sewing machine to do some sewing. I went to this shop to buy some fabric to start a new quilt. I walked in the door and two women (who worked in the shop) watched me walk in and walk around and they said nothing to me - not even hello!! Then I walked in the back where the work area was and two more women (one of the owners I think) were in that room, I walked right between them and looked at the quilts on the walls, walked out of that room, right between them and they didnt say a word - not even a hello. I must have been in the shop for 15-20 minutes and not one person said a word to me!!! There are too many places for me to spend my money to be treated like that. And boy, did I have money burning in my pocket!!!

Of all the quilt stores I have visited in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Montana, and Idaho, Quilt Etc. is the best and most complete. They have a large collection of fabrics, all different types, reproduction, batiks, juvenile, traditional, flannel, outdoors, Thimbleberries. Also, lots of notions for quilters and sewers. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The classes are great ranging from beginning piecing to Y seams to blocks of the month from several collections. I am not sure what happened the day Kris was there. Her experience is very atypical. However, sometimes unfriendly customers get unfriendly service in any store.

Six weeks ago I was a beginner quilter. That was when I started the beginning quilt class at quilt etc. My class is on Monday nights. A staff member helped my untrained eye pick the perfect fabric. Teaching me about focus, background, borders, and secondary fabrics. The owner Pat has sat by my side and explained Y seams to me. The atmosphere of the class is relaxed and friendly (Chocolate has been provided on several occasions). I can now look at the wonderful quilts on the wall and identify many different blocks that I can now piece. I feel confident in the new skills that I have acquired. Thank you Quilt Etc.

This is such a great place to be. I just.mobed here from Florida and dont know anyone. I walked in and I felt at home. Everyone is nice and I I have come 3 times and each time they remember me as the gal who just moved here. Live the shops both sides of the street and the maiden shop inside. Love them all. Its the best thing in Utah well im a quilter so for me its the best. The staff Rocks. Love them..

Wonderful store and fantastic staff. It is like coming home and visiting each time you enter the door. My absolute favorite store in this area because of the people and the great selection. Classes are great fun. I cant say enough good things about it. My wife and I enjoy it every time --- and it is also man friendly.

This quilt shop always had so many cute fabric selections! Their class lineup is always fantastic and hard to choose from because you want to take them all! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The store also has a many finished projects and other designs to spark your imagination.
