I am very disappointed with this place. They sell expired items intentionally. If you have to buy anything there then make sure you check the expiry date first. Also, they sold a broken god idol to me. He knew while selling it that it is broken, he asked me are you sure you want to buy it? Then he asked to make sure nothing is broken or missing. I did not know much what to look for but I bet he knew. He said if you buy it you can not return it. When I reached home I realized how he cheated. I would say never go there until they improve, instead there is another Indian store near Ganesha Hindu Temple called "Indian Spice Land", I have never found bad quality or expired stuff. They put an effort actually to remove the expired stuff from shelves. This is what I appreciate. But the "Cash n carry" they do not remove expired stuff because they want there customers to buy it by mistake because no body gonna check expiry date on every item they out in their cart.

Most disappointing. The Prices on the rack does not match what appears in the Bill, be ware of that. The store does not have a barcode scanning mechanism and the guys at the counter punches code of the item into the billing system and for some of the items it comes out wrong. I realized this after going back to home and the when I called the store to report the same I did not get a proper response. And When I checked with my friends they told me that they have faced the same problem as well. Most of the times we will not check the Bill against the prices on the rack and this store seems to be taking advantage of that knowingly or unknowingly. I would look for an alternative store than buying at this.

I was excited to have a Desi market in my home city, but after a few experiences at the shop I can say I am highly disappointed. After a few visits, I realized the owner does not care about all the expired goods (bads?) that he carries on his shelves. He intentionally sells them, and when asked about the expired dates he just shrugged his shoulders. He also promised me to order an item and told me to come in a week from my visit.. Well it has been several months with no luck. And when I asked regarding a specific item, He pointed to some expired items that were not what I was looking for.. He must be delusional, or his intentions are not right! I will drive somewhere else further away, Thank You!

I am making an Indian dish for the first time and it requires ingredients that i cant get at a regular grocer. I found Cash and Carry near by. I read some rather bad reviews of the store but I decided to go anyway and i have no idea what they are talking about. Everything had a good shelf life, and I found the spices to be less expensive than my local grocery store. The man at the register gave me the cash discount too. Great variety too.

Great place for Indian spices and pulses. Theyve got quite a few items in the freezers... Im just always left disappointed with their veggies section. Its a small walk-in fridge that leaves you wanting. Otherwise, the service is always great and all items are spot on.

The best source in Salt Lake for ingredients from India. Its where most Indian restaurants in the area buy their supplies. Its also my favorite place to buy instant or frozen vegetarian meals (wide variety, and affordable). Highly recommended!

Good place for Indian Groceries. Every Tuesday and Friday they get fresh vegetables. Prices are quite compatible. They have upgraded their billing system which provides details of items. They are good in returning stuff if not partially consumed.

Today went to Cash n Carry towards the closing and as warned by others got cheated for 10+ $ in the bill. So people be careful before exiting. Do a rough calculation and tally. In addition to the expiry date issues.
