Walked in to get a headset. Stood at the marked location that says "start line here" waited for the cashier to finish up with the person he was already helping and in the mean time another customer came in and stood directly behind the customers that were being helped. When the cashier was done he immediately started helping the customer that went in front of me. When i said something the cashier said he would be right with me, but instead of doing that, they (both cashiers) desided that this would be the perfect time to put a huge stack of games back on the shelf. There was literally three people standing behind me. Seriously terrible, i walked out and bought the headset online. If you coninue this type of customer service my guess is youll be fileing chapter 13 soon.

I went to this location simply for convenience and time, but was reluctant to do so after a bad experience I had a few months ago. This time around was even worse. I came in to exchange a pair of headphones for my xbox one and instead of being courteous and tactful in their sales approach it was more like..."I wonder what I can say to this customer to make him feel as stupid as possible". Nice Sales technique. I will NEVER return to this Game Stop. Whoever The Big-and-Tall-Loud-Mouth person is that works there should find another job where he doesnt have to deal with people.

This location is ok. Id rather go to the one in Sandy, even though this location is right by my house. The staff at the sandy location are more friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I was waiting in line for about an hour at this location and then we went to the sandy one and the guy said, did they come out into the line and ask what you needed so it would be ready when you got to the register??? No they didnt, he said thats what they are supposed to do. Sometimes I get a really good employee but, for the most part I prefer the one in Sandy.

I was recently taking advantage of the buy-2-get-1-free sale that these guys were doing so I visited a bunch of stores. I was referred to this store because they had the games I was looking for. The games were super easy to find and I didnt need any help from the staff. When checking out, the employee gave a quick and clear explanation of the warranty and also shared his excitement for me to play the games and gave some advice which he wrote down on the receipt for me. I really appreciate the involvement in the process.

I went here to trade a game in for another one the person comes up to me and asks that in order for me to do a trade in. I have to have the receipt. And told him that you dont need a receipt for a trade in and the person working there then began to be rude and disrespectful so I told him I expect better customer service from game stop and Ill be going to a better one who knows what there doing and has better respectful manners and offers good customer service.

Sunday I went to get xb1 controller from them opened it the lt button was broke I just bairly got a new one and a battery pack for it and it said on the packaging xbox one battery pack and it was a doc battery pack not an usb battery pack thiss location sucks big

Have gone to gamestop forever. Went there to get the ps4 pro and the dumb ass sold me the slim. For more than the pro was. Didnt realize til I got home and hooked it up to my 4k TV and it didnt have any options.

I went to ask about an exchange for a faulty headset and Chase tried to make me feel dumb for asking. I drove down to Sugar House and they were super helpful. Save yourself some time, head to another location.

Dont ever bother calling them. I waited on hold for 16 minutes before I hung-up and called back. Then they realized, I am sure, what they had done, so they kept sending me to the fax!!!!
