So I have brought two dead Macbook Pros to this place. The first one I now remember was a dead logic board. It took them a few days to finally ship it off to Apple for a $600 repair and I got it back in about two weeks. Later I found out I might have gotten it free if Id gone to the Apple store because it was a known defect. After a few years I forgot my experience and tried to take in my new Power Mac for a similar issue. I was promised that they would look at it in 24-48 hours, and that it would be $50 to look at it (credit to repair if done there) and let me know. I told them this was my work computer and I needed it back pronto. 36 hours later I called in to see how it was going and they hadnt even looked at it. They said they might not get to it the next day either. I told them I would come pick it up. I ran it down to the Apple store and in 5 minutes they had run a professional looking diagnostics package on it and said it was a logic board issue. They said it would be $305 to overnight it to an Apple repair facility and get it replaced. I would have it back fixed in 2-3 days, or I could have it fixed there in a day for $500. What a difference! Do not bother wasting your precious time with these hacks, go to the professionals! The 5 star reviews of this place must be paid advertisements

i have always been a mac enthusiast, which also makes me a PC hater in a sense, i have had both os and systems for years but it wasnt until 2007 i made the switch permanently. since then i have heard all of the "fan boy" name calling and so on. but people dont understand until they make the switch. and even more so going into an apple store is quite the experience. and every time i go in it always makes me feel like Im in a christmas store. and wouldnt go into any other store regardless if macs are sold in other places, Best buy, walmart etc. until Simply mac opened a store by my house. it still took me a little bit to go in there. but if anyone of you have ever been to the mac store. it is always insanely busy and sometimes you can wait for a while before someone comes to you. but at simply mac with in the first 5 second of me walking in i was not only greeted the person another came over to me and told me when he was done helping the current customer that he would be right with me. that has never happened at any other apple store. i wont discredit apple for not doing this but having personal attention from the staff at simply mac, i wouldnt trade that for anything. i will always go to the simply mac store in fort union store for anything, issues or new purchases i have or want. - Wesley Stagg

They definitely put up a good front. But after completely refusing to stand behind the products they feature I wont be returning. Ask an associate BEFORE you buy ANYTHING in there store to fully explain the return policy, Second inquire about the next predicted upgrade version of the item your considering if there is a newer advanced version of your item you may want to wait. As I know from experience even if you never used opened or touched a purchase the Simply Mac team will not budge on denying you the chance to have the product you wish and it doesnt matter what the reason after 30 days they are finished with providing any type of compromise on there vague and customer unfriendly policy. That is my personal experience and I know the Apple store in fashion place and at Gateway are far more customer oriented and less likely to disappoint a life long mac consumer. If you have had issues with this retailer I urge you to report the complaint to apple as this is the only way authorized retailers are informed of the change needed to create a more in sync philosophy for all Mac consumers regardless of where the merchandise was purchased the companys integrity is being threatened when official Mac retailers have a conflicting idea of service. Buyer Beware while shopping at Simply Mac!

Absolutely terrible customer service. Not only did I have to stand in the middle of the room for 15 minutes trying to flag someone down, but nobody would even acknowledge that I was there. A simple, "thanks for coming in, well be with you in just a moment" would have sufficed. I was confused, wondering if there was some secret line I wasnt standing in to get service. Once I was able to flag someone down, getting them to focus on simply letting me pick up my laptop and pay for your services proved to be quite the challenge. The person who "helped" me was often distracted and didnt seem to care I was there. I had to tell him that it had been 30 minutes of me waiting and I had to go before he would give me enough attention TO PAY YOU. Unreal! Wal-Mart customer service blows you out of the water, and thats saying something! Ill drive to Las Vegas to get my next Apple product repaired before I ever step foot in your store again.

In mid-November I went in and purchased 8 ipads & minis for my company. They had 2 ipads and the rest had to be ordered. 2 more ipads eventually came in right around Christmas but no minis. EVERY call to them they said, "we expect them this week." Finally on January 8th we went in for a refund on the 4 minis. They supposedly refunded money back onto our card (same card we used for purchase). We went to an Apple store and bought 4 minis. No refund appeared on our card. The next day we called and they said it will take 24 to 48 hours for the refund to appear on our card. Now it is Jan 12th and still no refund. I have given SimplyMac a loan of almost $4000 for two months for no reason. Still no minis and still no money back. We will be buying macbbooks and other devices this year but we DEFINITELY will NEVER buy from Simply Mac again.

Last week I brought my mac into the store to get an estimate. I walked in and there were many sales people standing around together talking!! Very unfriendly, but yet one broke away and asked me if I needed help! I showed him my mac, I have a crack on my screen. He took my mac to the back to talk to his tech. Within minutes he returned to advise me it would cost $768.00. I hated not being able to speak to the technician for my questions and what did that price include! The price was outrageous! I finally decided to go where I should of, the APPLE STORE, where I purchased it. The staff is always so friendly, helpful and go out of their way! And yes, it will cost me $321.00 to repair my mac, and that includes LABOR!!! I LOVE THE APPLE STORE, and I will only do business there going forward!
