Has anyone seen that little sign at the register? It reads "Dont be Rude!" The employee (Manager?) I encountered there was about as rude as Ive ever been treated in my 50+ years as a consumer. I didnt get his name so Ill call him Jose for now. Someone else here mentioned that they make returning your item a living hell? He was right! I bought a small item and paid cash for it. Then I noticed the parts carousel to the left of the register and realized that I could actually assemble this same part myself for a fraction of the cost. So I grab the parts I need and then tell Jose "Im sorry for the bother but Id like to return this original item and buy these instead". I was waiting for Jose to say something like "oh, no bother sir" but he remained quiet and grumbled instead. He works his magic on the register and then asks me for my phone number. I said "I just paid cash for this and Id rather not give out my personal info". He then said in a demanding tone "I NEED a phone number for you to make this return". So, just to get this done I made up a phone number for him to enter. Then he continues to grumble "your name?" I said "look... you just saw me pay cash for this 2 minutes ago, Id really rather not give out my personal info". He uses his most rude voice to tell me "I NEED your info to do this return" (he didnt say "please", or "sir", or "I apologize for your inconvenience"...just the rude demand). I continued with "Hey listen, I know how your system works... you can just type in customer refuses to give info and everythings cool". I went on to say "I dont mean to be a hassle but..." He interrupts me and says "you ARE being a hassle!" My jaw dropped!! I could not believe I was being treated like this! I say "Nice attitude dude... do you treat ALL your customers so rudely like this? He mumbles some profanities while he types a bunch of a stuff and finally completes the return and new sale and hands me the cash difference. I asked him about the sign on the side of the register reading "Dont be Rude". . I say "so who is that sign supposed to be aimed at... the customer or the employees?" You would not believe his answer..."thats an OLD sign!" he said! Again, not believing what I was hearing I say "so are you saying that your store has a NEW policy that condones being rude to customer?" As I say this, I made my way the hell out of that store because I feared that if I stayed there I would cross my line of tolerance and bad things could happen. As I was walking out he continued to mumble things like "Im being rude cuz you wont give me your info and we need your info and...blah blah blah"...BTW, this is all taking place while another customer was standing in the isle...also with a stunned look about what he was hearing. NEVER AGAIN WILL I VISIT THAT POS STORE AS LONG AS THAT A**HOLE WORKS THERE!

Didnt catch the guys name that helped me, but also had a horrible experience at this location. Im guessing its the same extremely negative unfriendly guy everyone else has encountered. Went in simply to do a return, and he made me feel as if the money was going to come directly out of his pocket. Tried to make small talk with him as he was processing the return and he gave very short yes or no answers. Any questions requiring an answer beside yes or no were completely ignored. Will not be going to this location again. The store at superstition mall had a much better staff and though its twice as far from my house, if I ever buy anything from the shack again, I will go that store.

Terrible, unprofessional staff, too lazy to do anything. Obnoxious behavior towards costumers. I will be avoiding this location and will tell all of my friends to stay away from this place.

Friendly staff. We went to pickup a few components for our arduino project. They have a nice selection of standard circuit board things and sensors and project kits.

Guy Chad there knows electronics/ phones. Took time to explain differences between phones. Big help with toy for man - Droid controlled vehicle
