We bought a washer and dryer with the one year guarantee. At first we were super happy with them. About 9 months later the dryer died and the washer started unbalancing so it wouldnt ever spin to let the water out. We called since it was under warranty. He said hed bring us a different dryer the next week because it wasnt worth it for him.to fix it. He didnt show up all week. We called again, and again he promised to be there the next week and to just send him.the address. Again he was a no-show. Weve tried calling and texting and we think hes ignoring us now. We want our money back at this point but we get no answer. Dont buy from this company.

I usually do not write reviews, but this time I had to because I felt others need to be warned of how Mauricio does business. I called him to repair a double oven, I thought the problem was the control panel and I told him so. He agreed and got us a new one for $350.00 + 150.00 for his fee to put it on. After putting it in, he sent me a text message saying the oven was fixed. But it turned out that the top oven was not working, I called him back and he came over a day after he said he would and he told me the elements on that oven were both burned out or too old. He said he would go get them and charge me ‘just a little’. I didn’t think I wanted to spend money on another ‘service call’ since I had already paid him, so, I told him we would put them on since my husband is a general contractor and I knew we could put them in. When I took the elements to the appliance store, they tested them because they said it is very unusual that both elements go out at the same time, and just as they guessed, both elements were working. I texted him and told him what I was told, but he did not answer. So I called him the next morning just to find him upset and telling me that the people at the store were not technicians and they didn’t know what they were talking about. I asked him if I go and buy new elements and the oven still didn’t work, if he would come and fix the oven. He reminded me that he didn’t charge me for the last service call; I told him I didn’t think he should have charged me since he didn’t fix the oven. He told me that a fuse also might have gone out and because I chose to put the elements on myself he is not longer responsible for the oven even though I offered to buy new ones. He said he knew people like me who did not want to spend their money even if they had it, he said that ‘Peruvians’ are like that. I kept telling him that he had not fixed my oven like he had texted me and for which I thought I paid him and at the end he hung up on me. Anyway, I ended up having to pay someone else, and he discovered a loose wire and I did not have to spend money on new elements.

Buyer beware- Mauricio sold us a Fridge and in less than 3 weeks it was not working- it was warmer than it should have been from the beginning and by the 3rd week 60 degrees if we hadnt had our back up fridge in the garage we would have lost hundreds of dollars in food. He does not take his broken appliances back even if they never worked properly from the get go- Everything is "As Is" and he states that a 6 to 8 hundred dollar Fridge is a deal- (Well yes, if it actually worked for longer than a couple of weeks) He stated we could have purchased a warranty for extra- we didnt even have this fridge for 3 weeks- I have spoke with the manufacturer and they stated if an appliance has ever had the label removed stating model number and year of manufacture -Dont buy it! The label has been removed by the company or a trained Tech when the appliance is no longer acceptable for resale.

It was a great experience. I called him at 8:30 am, he set my appointment for sometime between 10-11 am that same day. He was on time and prepared to fix the issues right then. EVERY OTHER appliance repair shop Ive worked with have come in and diagnosed, then I had to wait 1 to 3 weeks for the parts to finally come. Maybe Im lucky and he just happened to have the parts needed to fix the issues. I do think a better business model would be to charge the $20 diagnostic fee if the customer decided against the repair, otherwise it is applied towards the cost of the repair. Other than that, I do feel like his pricing fair on parts and labor. Pros: On time, fast service, offers warranty, educated me on the issues & potential future problems but didnt sell me repairs I didnt need. Cons:$20 diagnostic fee is an added expense rather than applied to the repair.

I had a oven with a broken front glass, I wanted to replace the glass. I found a replacement glass for $146. Mauricio told me that he had a whole new door that he would put on for less than the cost to buy a new door. Put the door on for $100 (Takes 2 minutes to swap doors) and left with his money and my old door that needed an outer glass. I tested the oven (He didnt stick around and do this himself) and found that the door he put on wasnt the right size. Door sensor that detects that the door is closed does not get pushed in, so convection never comes on anymore and heat pours out the top because of a gap. I cant get Mauricio to call me back and to make it worse the door assembly that I need to fix this is not available, just the glass replacements. Now I have an oven I cant use. Thanks Mauricio. You are a peach of a person and business man.

We hired this company to service an appliance for us. Refrigerator that would not cool, he gave us a price to repair the refrigerator and promised a 6 month warranty on the work. We knew that it had a slow leak in the cooling system. I told him when he did the work that I need him to find the leak and patch it then charge the system. He told me that he did. After a few weeks of use the refrigerator stopped cooling again. Lost refrigerant again. So he came out and refilled it again. I told him again to make sure that the leak was repaired. After a few weeks of use the fridge has stopped working again. He asked $450 more to fix his own warranty work. When I argued that it was warranty work, he hung up on me. He is dishonest and do not recommend him at all.
