The Ice Cream is good. The workers are all young and sweet. But the Manager lady or owner or whoever walks around with the camera and promotes for Cold Stone, needs some help with her social skills. You guys delivered to my work with 2 big tubs of free ice cream. VERY SWEET and nice to do. Everyone LOVED IT. She wanted the ice cream tubs delivered back to her when they were empty. So we washed them and We said that when we had time, we would and bring them back. I feel like everyone assumed that since she delivered them, she would pick them back up. Cause thats how things usually work for our company in situations like this. So later in the week she came in to my work, and said that she was here to get her ice cream tubs back. She had a huge attitude. After we gave them to her she said that there were not 2 tubs she delivered, but 3. Which was not the case. The Only tubs she delivered that day to the receptionist were the 2 tubs of icecream.. Peanut butter and strawberry. Not sure how we wouldve known about any other tubs that were given to our employees when we have 500 people in the building. She should have contacted whoever she gave that 3rd tub too and solved it with them. Reception was trying to talk to her so we could figure out what the 3rd tub story was all about because we only got 2. While the receptionist was trying to talk to her, the lady ignored what the receptionist was saying and was interrupting her and just walked out. She was super passive aggressive and unprofessional. I personally, will not be going to that location ever again. We are grateful for the free ice cream, and im sure the company i work for would love to do business. I am not speaking for the entire company. Just my personal experience with this location and my own opinion. Thanks!

My husband and I love cold stone ice cream and have never had any issues at other locations. We went to the one in Ogden tonight and the line was really short. There were three workers so the line should have been moving at a quicker pace. I ordered my ice cream and the girl was quick to make it while another worker was helping another customer, and the last worker ringing up another customers order. My husband waited for someone to become available to help him, but instead two of the workers sat to talk while the third worker continued to help the other customer. Finally when the third worker was free, he helped my husband. As he made the ice cream, they decided to practice their "tricks" by throwing the ice cream across the counter, while another worker tried to catch it in the bowl. They missed and the ice cream fell to the floor. During this time, four other customers had arrived and were waiting to be helped, while the third worker disappeared to the back. They had to remake my husbands ice cream and decided to switch roles and try again. They caught the ice cream the second time, but another customer asked who pays for all of the wasted ice cream and if this is why it takes so long to get ice cream there since the line has been out the door previously. The worker who responded happened to be the assistant manager and said the owner likes them to practice these "tricks". We finally got our ice cream after being there for 20 minutes. After we left, we sat outside and the customers behind us were given a free carmel apple for their wait. The workers were all very nice, but we did not want wait for our ice cream which had to be made twice because they were practicing their "tricks". The ice cream was very good but I am not sure we will return to this location.

Delicious, but WAY overpriced and AWFUL customer service. Last night, right before closing, I spent $5 on a single milk chocolate peanut butter bucket. Only, it was supposed to have creamy peanut butter, and when I got home, I was quite disappointed to bite into it and discover it was filled with whole peanuts. I didnt even eat it, because I strongly dislike chunky peanut butter, and since I spent $5 on this relatively small piece of chocolate, I called them back today to tell them about what happened and ask if I could bring it in and exchange it. I wasnt angry because I understood that this was just a small mistake and it could be easily solved. But when I called, they told me that they cant offer me anything and if I wanted a creamy peanut butter bucket, Id have to purchase another. Im not about to spend $10 just to get a single peanut butter cup for myself, especially when this mixup was entirely due to employee error!! And its absolutely unreasonable that they expect me to spend MORE money just to get the thing I originally ordered!!! The worst part? This isnt even the first time this has happened! In March, I spent several dollars on a "birthday cake" chocolate bar that was supposed to have sprinkles in it, according to the picture and description on the package. Not only did it not have sprinkles in it, but it tasted horrible--like fake Halloween chocolate and corn syrup. I was irritated about the false advertising and tried to return or exchange it, but they told me there was nothing they could do. Its a shame because I love Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory products, but Im definitely going to have to stop purchasing from this location, if not just the store in general.

Service was great! The people here are fantastic. The novelty of it isnt as fresh for me, and I really wanted some great ice cream. The flavors were pretty spot on, but what really disappointed me about the ice cream was the texture. It felt loaded with guar and xanthan gums, which gave it a superficial spongy feel. If I pushed on it with my finger, it sprang back up into shape. I understand traditional ice cream melts faster, and is more difficult to work with, but this current concoction is NOT better living through chemistry. If you want to see some nice people, or buy some spectacular chocolate, then this is the place. If you want some novelty ice cream, Sub Zero might be better. If you want good ice cream, Farrs is only a few blocks away.

Cold stone is far superior to other frozen rock creameries. Our latest experience involved the very friendly and helpful Riley ;) She asked to help. I said I was thinking about something outside of my normal order. She offered a taste of the new Chocolate Cake Batter - that tasted just like cake batter! She also asked about my go to item and suggested how I could change it up. She mentioned that we could substitute any item for any like item. Such as a mix-in or an ice cream flavor. She was an Ice Cream Artist! She did not over mix my ice cream so all the flavors were distinguishable. This above and beyond experience was a first for us at ColdStone and deserved Riley a tip and a great review from this Local Guide!

My husband and I (from Louisiana), along with our son, his wife and 3 children (from Florida), had a great time at the Ogden store on Dec. 30, 2016. Annie (our server) patiently guided each of us in picking a favorite ice cream treat, and then helped us (gift wrapped!) with boxed gift items to take back home to friends and co-workers. Her hospitality and your great chocolate eats were the highlight of our afternoon visit to the famous 25th Street!
