I went to the Midvale store today and asked for green socks in Large size. They said they had them in Layton and could have them sent from the Layton store to the Midvale store in a couple days. When I asked if that meant on Thursday, the employee asked another employee when the socks would arrive. He said that Layton would send them to the store tomorrow (Wednesday) and that they would be ready to be picked up on Friday. I asked out of curiosity why the socks would not be ready until Friday if they would be delivered on Wednesday. The employee stated, "well maybe they wont be ready at all for you, if you have that kind of attitude." I said, that I didnt have an attitude, I was just asking. He said yes, you have an attitude. I decided to leave at that point. It was extremely shocking and rude. Ive never been treated like that before and I buy a lot of sports equipment for softball and baseball teams that I coach. I would suggest going to Universal Athletic instead. In this case, I went and picked up my socks from Dicks instead. Hopefully this was a one-time incident, but it was so shocking I decided to do my first bad review of any retailer ever...

This review is for academy sports customer service. I spoke with Victor who told me he could get fraudulent charges removed from my card. After putting me on hold multiple times, he told me there were no such charges and there was nothing he could do. I asked why it took 30 minutes to look that up and he just said there was a lot to look through. I gave him specific dates, amounts, names, card number and he couldnt find it. Right before hanging up he said he found it, but me on hold another 10 minutes, then said there was nothing he could do. Poor service and waste of time. Im giving the overall customer service one star, not this specific location.
