Nathan Major

Great place if youre an MTG fan. Prices on singles are fair and theyll even get commons/uncommons for you. They have tons of tournaments including free Modern, Legacy, and Standard with prizes. Ive found the group that frequents here is generally very positive with a few standouts of generally excellent people. While some paid tournaments get competitive, they usually have a decent mix of casual and spikes at the free or cheap tournaments. My only complaint is they only have one obvious bathroom. Theres two others but theyre harder to find in the store. If youre a magic fan, this is a great LGS to frequent.

A fun little hole-in-the-wall game shop I happened to stumble upon. They have a strong focus on Magic the Gathering, and so their other offerings are a little sparse, but they have a few euro-games and source books. One thing that really stood out was their giant wall case of exceptional and rare Magic cards. When I visited, there was a large Magic tournament going on. Some 40 or so people were there for a draft of some sort in celebration of a new release.

Game Grid is the only game shop in the area with a nice open area for tournaments and events that is away from the retail area. This makes for a nice comfortable environment when playing. They also have a wide variety of singles and they are very helpful and will even give advice on what cards would go good with your deck without making you feel dumb or like theyre just trying to sell you the more expensive stuff.

The owner Jordan, is one of the smarted guys youll ever meet. Hell not only help you find the cards youre looking for Hell tell the cards he suggests. He will help you step by step making the deck. he has helped with my Exponential goblin. and my turn 4 infect. Both of which went from 0 to hero real quick. And the board game borrowing/renting thing is cool. Thanks Jordan! (the other employees are great to!)

Pretty much the best place to go and play games in Utah county and Salt Lake county. I live in West Valley and i would rather drive down to Lehi to play games with the people that play at this store than that of any other. Jordan Bird is the owner and he knows just about all there is to know about board games and how to have a fun game night.

To the gentleman below, yes, they have a ton of MTG cards, but you somehow missed that the entire entrance to the store is chock full of ALL kinds of games, many of which you can rent to try out and see if you like them. Very cool store, very cool peeps.

Best magic card shop ever. Also has tons of amazing board games. They let you try the board games first and will teach you how to play. They have been so helpful its is ruined me for going to other stores...no one else comes close.

Inventoried stock so no searching through binders. Get the cards you want easy. Competitive events. If youre up for a challenge then this is the place. New players may be overwhelmed. Come with a friend.

Game Grid is an amazing place for Magic: The Gathering events such as Friday Night Magic, commander, modern, pro tour qualifiers and they have the best selection of single cards in Utah County.

Their demo shelf is awesome and the games are well kept. Not the best selection, but still a good variety. Heavy on dominion and magic, but its a game store magic is their bread and butter.
