Let me start by saying I really love my tattoo, its not finished, but whats there I absolutely love. My artist was Haylo and she is extremely talented and a very nice person. That being said my overall experience wasnt that great, heres why. I went there to get a piece done on my arm, a Capricorn in trash polka style. Its a half sleeve so its pretty big. I was initially scheduled for four sessions. I got to my second session and Haylo told me she thought she could wrap it up by the next session. So on my third session, it didnt end up getting finished, which is fine, whatever, these things take time and I want it done right. However, I go to checkout and they said Id owed $300, when Id been told it was going to be $100. They said it was because I still needed another session so my deposit wasnt going to be applied to this appointment. I didnt have that money on me so they said they would close out my account and then Id have to make another appointment and pay another $200 deposit to finish my tattoo. And then I had another appointment with Haylo the following month for the last session, but it had been cancelled because she had said we were going to finish it on the 3rd session. I didnt cancel that appointment, they did. So now Im looking at paying another $200 deposit to finish my tattoo and I dont have an appointment for it. And they kindly informed me that Haylo would be booked out for the next several months. So I asked what I should do and they said theyd put me on a wait list and call me when an appointment became available. That was about 5 months ago. Still havent heard a thing. Im frustrated, I feel like I was screwed over. Ive already paid over $1300 (not including tips) for this tattoo and they treated me like I wasnt worth their time. 3rd review (response to their edited post) So first of all no, my last appointment wasnt cancelled because you closed out my account. It had happened before I even paid for my last session. I went to the front desk with Haylo on my last session and when they told me theyd have to close out my account to use my deposit and that Id have to make another appointment, I checked my phone right there and said that we had another appointment scheduled for the following month and why wouldnt we just use that appointment? Haylo checked her calender and the receptionist checked her calender. The receptionist told me that the appointment had been previously cancelled. So it had been cancelled BEFORE I closed out my account, not because I didnt have a deposit for another appointment. So what you just said is LIBEL. And your receptionist was the one who said theyd put me on a wait list and that I could pay the deposit when a position became available. So if that wasnt allowed maybe you should take that up with her. Also yes, we did change the design of my tattoo from a cancer, Leo, Capricorn in trash polka style to just a Capricorn in trash polka style but that was before I had even had my first session. So before we even started on the tattoo she knew what I wanted. We went over the sketch together, emailing back and forth several times. As a matter of fact, my "last" appointment she said she would put the finishing touches of trash polka style on my arm and then wed be done. So stop trying to make excuses and cite your ridiculous policies to me and just own up to the fact that you guys screwed up. And go ahead and threaten me with your attorney for posting a public Google review, Id love to hear from them. 4th review (in response to the p.s. note) Ummm I would love to see these imaginary screen shots. I havent posted anything to Facebook today let alone anything about your ridiculous little company. And I think you meant to say I was *encouraging* others to post bad reviews? I dont need to encourage anyone to do that. Just keep doing business as you are and youll get plenty of bad reviews on your own! And I cant wait to hear from your attorney.

My husband and I wanted to get some new tattoos. I called to make an appointment and Rebecca was great about helping me figure out how much time we would need. We were given an appointment with Haylo, who was simply awesome. She was professional, knew her stuff, and did exactly what we wanted. Our tattoos turned out great and we couldnt be happier. We will be returning! This is an addition to my previous review. I still give 5 stars, more if I could. This time Rebecca again helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and how much time. She is so friendly and easy to work with. Christina did my tattoo and did an amazing job. She took the picture I was thinking of for my tattoo and made it even better than I was expecting. She is easy going and talked to me the whole time. She is simply wonderful and has some crazy talent! I totally recommend Lucky Bamboo Tattoo (the place is super clean and a great atmosphere) to anyone who wants a tattoo. I will definitely be back. This is a new addition to my previous reviews. I have to say that I just love this place. Yesterday I had a consultation for a large tattoo with Christina. I had a few pictures of things I wanted to incorporate into the tattoo and she just went with it. She gave me a timeline as to how long it would take and was up front about pricing. It was a great experience. I cant wait to see what she comes up with! Still I give 5 stars...only because I cant give more. Updated and new review...Cant say enough about Lucky Bamboo Tattoo. This is long overdue. I went in for my first session at the beginning of May and then 2 weeks later for the final session. I sat for 4 hours the first session and 2 1/2 hours the second. Christina was great. She created a beautiful floral tattoo with lots of color. It was exactly what I wanted. I healed fast and love it. I will stick with 5 stars. This place is great!

First of all, Ill be honest and say I have not had any work done here, yet. This is merely a review of the consultation I had. The shop is very clean and its obvious the owner and artists take pride in that. I enjoyed checking out the custom artwork on the walls and the receptionist (I think her name is Des) was pleasant and helpful. While I waited for my consultation another artist checked to make sure we (my husband was along for moral support) were ok. The artist I had my consultation with did not seem very interested in what I wanted done and in fact missed something I said completely. It was very clear she wanted in and out of the meeting as quickly as possible and wanted to do what she wanted to do regardless of what I had in mind. She pushed for me to pay my deposit right that minute and set my appointment without a design or anything drawn up or a follow up to make sure what she designed was in line with what I had in my head. Im not opposed to paying the deposit as I understand its purpose, but I was not about to shell out $150 of non-refundable money for something I hadnt even seen (I would have even paid a fee for her to design it and come back and look at it but that was not even offered). Her work is stunning but I was not impressed with her pushiness and lack of enthusiasm or even pretended interest in what I wanted. That being said--there are other artists there who are talented and have been recommended by friends so I will give the shop another go to see if I can find an artist that will be willing to listen and work with me to get what I want.
