First of all tried to use online survey and site would not accept store id of 03366 and ID# 7HY08K1560HN for Centerville Utah 10Dec transaction at 16;12:18. The really negative comment concerns wireless store delays, specifically took 3 hours to activate a T-Mobile phone (to get deal with Wal Mart) because of the WARP? system approval process required by Wal Mart. This WARP system is absolutely useless with the India call center barely understandable, a really poor voice connection (who pays for the quality of the voice line?) and when elevating probs to supervisor was hung up on by supervisor/staff twice by India. This a big turn off to repeat business at Wal Mart and I surely will be telling all my coworkers and LDS ward friends to not waste time with Wal Mart. The executive/leader that signed off on communicating with a country that can barely understand us with exceptionally poor voice connection should have to spend two weeks activating phones thru this system to see how frustrating the experience really is. Kudos to the excellent service and demeanor of the Wal Mart staff and T-Mobile rep for their extreme patience with this convoluted and business killing process. Turns out the last name was spelled wrong but call Center India (Warp?) would not tell what was wrong and just wanted to cancel transaction twice. How unfortunate that Wal Mart staff has to deal with this nonsense each time a phone is activated. Also experienced a two hour delay activating my spouse added line phone in Layton Utah Wal Mart very next day, again WARP system operators are barely understandable and they would not say why they could not activate phone from India call center. Very, very frustrating....

Ive been shopping at this location for years and can honestly say this is one of the nicer Walmart stores I have been to in Utah. This really is our go-to place for all things general grocery wise (with the exception of produce and meats). Ive picked up some produce on occasion, but in general its not great, hence why 4 stars). All other departments are well stocked and decently priced (although I purchase the majority of my specialty need items from that huge online retailer everyone loves). I rarely have seen an issue with stock, but they could choose better times to re-stock their shelves and not at 6PM on a Monday night whenever everyone else is trying to shop. But whatever, it happens so often its weird not to see someone re-stocking an aisle. Within the last year they introduced self check-out which was a huge plus to getting in and out relatively quickly, this was a huge black eye against them as they only ever had maybe 2 check stands open at any given time. I have not used any of the services offered inside the store (i.e. nail and hair salon, wireless communication store, and pharmacy). I have used the automotive shop once to have them test my battery and then install a new one, but they scratched my fender and damaged my drivers side mirror (cracked the housing, the dude wasnt watching and walked right into it with his hip). That was the last time I used their shop for any auto work. Overall, with the exception of those few things this is a great place to shop, the store remains tidy and organized for the most part, its never overly crowded, and the layout is a little better in my opinion.

Every time I have gone into this specific store, the service has been HORRIBLE! I have been a handful of times, and wont be returning. Tonight I tried to return an item around 7 pm. It took your incompetent Customer Service (I use that term lightly) about a half hour to get to me (I was 2nd in line). There were only 2 girls *working the counter.... soon 2 other Walmart workers came to *help one of the girls at the counter with a transaction. They stood there gossiping and laughing among themselves... slowly taking care of the problem.... I could go on about JUST tonights experience. I am disgusted with the EVER changing refund policies. Each time I am in the store either no one can be found to help, or in groups socializing among themselves, are rude, dont know where anything is. The bathrooms have always been filthy: clogged toilets, papertowels either empty, on the floor or in the clogged toilets, no toilet paper, water all over the place, smell of stale urine, etc.. I have taken my car to get the oil changed. They broke off my dipstick and didnt tell me, stripped my lug nuts, and didnt put my anti-freeze cap on tight enough and it leaked out. Overall very disappointed... I have been and now will continue to make an effort to go out of my way to go to your competitors.

If I could give this place a negative 10 stars I would. This place does not ALLOWED service animal so dont bring your service animal here! Which is against the ADA policy and Utah laws. A friend of mine who has a disability brought her service dog into the place and she was STOPPED in front door refusing to let her and her service dog in. Even though theres a sign in the first double doors CLEARLY said "Service animal welcome". Her service dog has a collar that said SERVICE DOG! The greeter name is Brenda and we called and file a report to the phone number on the front of the store (where it said "Service animal welcome". . NOTHING happens. We then decided to talk the manager, he didnt do NOTHING. All he said was "She is doing what she is told". Not allowing service animal clearly a violation of federal and local laws. We called the store to speak with a manager, he NEVER did nothing. All he said was "Let me find out whats going on". And he hung up on us, RUDE! Never asked for my friends name or even tell us his name. I will file a complaint to ADA and Wal-Mart cooperate and if nothing is being done, then there will be a legal action against this location.

Walmart in general is stereotypically bad at customer service, has long lines, etc. This Walmart is no exception and is also frequently out of what we need and the prices are higher than at Smiths usually. We just called this particular Walmart when the new Cinderella movie came out to see if they had any copies. The lady on the phone said they had a ton left and told us what the price was, which was much cheaper than everywhere else. So, we immediately went there and found that they were all sold out, had been for hours, and the price was not what we were told. So, we decided to call back and ask again to see what we were told. Sure enough, the same girl answered and said they had a ton and quoted us the wrong price AGAIN! We called her on it and she just laughed. This is the type of person who is the face of your store! I try to avoid Walmart if at all possible.

WOW, horrible phone etiquette and customer service. Called up to ask customer service a question about a return and was placed on hold for 3 minutes the first time, operator asked who I wanted to speak to and she directed my call. No one ever answered the phone, operator picked back up and when I told her they hadnt answered, she replied well theyre busy down there. I asked to speak with a manager, her response was "why, so you can complain?" That wasnt my intent, but after that reply it was. She rang for a manager and the call dialed and dialed, no answer, she came back on the phone found out it was me and then hung up. Customer service has never been a plus here, but after this I was dumbfounded. The bad thing is, complaining to someone higher up doesnt make a difference.
