What a beautiful place! We walked around the grounds and enjoyed the different kinds of plants and flowers on the grounds. In the Butterfly Garden we saw several monarch butterflies and lots of little critters all around. It was a warm day and we were the only ones out there aside from the grounds keepers mowing and the friendly staff in the office. There were several large rooms that would be great for events, and a museum that included pictures of each queen from the Festival of Roses. Its a nice place to visit and spend time and I look forward to visiting when the roses are in full bloom!

Visiting the Tyler Rose Garden is a much more complete experience if you start in the Tyler Rose Garden Museum -- it explains the history, pageantry, economy and technology of the the rose trade in Tyler. The splendor of the gowns, the first hand accounts of earlier promoters, the economy and community efforts at building up the rose business, all give you a sense how a community can pull together to do great things. There is a small fee for the museum (but none for the Rose Garden) -- I think it was less than $5.

First of all its free. I did have to take their little elevator with my stroller, but at least they had an elevator. The garden is beautiful even if everything is not in bloom. It had some fountains and a pond and more than just roses. It was a nice little stroll and great for pictures. I enjoyed it and found it refreshing.

Tyler Rose Garden and Museum is great place to visit. Inexpensive family fun. Its actually free to go to the rose garden. A wonderful place the community should be proud and home to the "Tyler Rose" himself Earl Campbell.

Even though the roses werent blooming the garden was still beautiful. The museum was great,loved all the dresses and literature. Gift shop was very affordable and staff was friendly and helpful.

We visited the rose garden this week. I was amazed how poorly it was maintained there were now blooms and they badly needed trimming off old growth. Not at all worth the trip.

Wonderful place for a walk in the springtime. No admission to get in and there is normally plenty of parking. One of the most beautiful places in Tyler.

Very nice rose garden, really need to go during full bloom, I went in late may and there wasnt too many roses in blossom.
