how did the hipster burn his tongue? he drank his coffee before it was cool. vibe: hipster. perfect if youd like to escape san antonio for an afternoon and pretend youre in austin. :] volume: loud. pretty heavy rock-ish music that you kinda have to almost-yell to talk over. definitely need to step outside if you need to take a phone call. not ideal if you prefer quieter study environments. id say this is more of a hang out or causally get some busywork done kind of place vs. a hardcore cramming for finals type of coffeeshop. temperature: unfortunately, freeeezing cold. :[ even with a fleece jacket. this + volume are probably the main reasons i cant really study here. otherwise, id probably visit a lot more! internet: slow-ish. might have been bc there were a ton of people there when i visited. and it kept kicking me off the network-- maybe every 15-30 min (and would take multiple attempts to reconnect). seating: limited, especially during exam weeks. i got lucky and walked in just as someone was leaving-- otherwise, i would have had to get my drink to go and head home bc literally every other chair was taken! soo popular. outlets: good amount near the tables but not in the couch area. there are outlets in the bookshelf area, so if youre sitting on the couch, you can keep an eye on your stuff as it charges, but cant really use your laptop while it charges. drinks: coco loco (vanilla latte + coconut oil) was definitely good-- smooth espresso with a subtle and unique flavor profile and not overbearingly sweet. i was trying to enjoy it but i guess i didnt down it quick enough bc the oil soon separated out and looked super gross, and then hardened bc it was so cold inside the coffeeshop... (also bc the drink wasnt all that hot to begin with, but i didnt mind bc i like getting my drinks at a temp that is immediately drinkable!) they offer a good number of other unique-sounding drinks that id like to eventually try. wish their menu would explain their drinks a little more though, so i wouldnt have to ask what half of them were haha. i also asked about any specials but they didnt have any that day. latte art: yup! price: $$$$ (especially given that the drinks are fairly small) so not super student-friendly, but hey, nobody said the cool factor was free. oh and no prices on the menu, so not so ideal if youre on a budget. location/parking: kinda weird that its located sorta in an apt complex, but upside is plenty of parking in the garage out back. would love it if they opened a location in the med center! overall: a welcome addition to the sa coffee scene! not quite a good place to study, but the espresso drinks are definitely unique and on par with the best coffeeshops in town.

I usually only come here for coffee, which is so good all the time, but Ive been wanting to come for brunch since they started serving it. I finally made it there today and the biscuits and gravy were AMAZING! It was so unique and fresh and all the flavors balanced so well. I highly recommend going for their coffee and the weekend brunch. Its worth it.

Great drinks, they offer lactose free milk, prices are relatively good. Good music selection, /very/ hipster vibe, which is relaxing :) They will kick you out if you dont buy something within about 15 minutes though, but thats understandable I mean theyre an independent small place. I love them! Whenever I can I stop in to study with a vanilla latte.

I frequent different coffee shops around SA to get a feel for their different atmospheres and coffee tastes and Indy Coffee is by far the best. Great baristas and interior design, really gives me inspiration to write more music, thanks! and try their "Dirty Brown" iced coffee, absolutely delicious and so smooth.

Extremely limited seating, its a small place, the coffee is really good but they didnt have decaf espresso or soy milk so that made me a little sad. The temperature inside is a bit chilly but I really didnt mind since its +90 outside most of the year anyway. The to-go cups are so cute, will go back for more soon.

I always love getting the coffee here, the food not so much. Besides the donuts, I find everything else overpriced and under seasoned. I payed a little over $7 for a house coffee and a rather small and bland curry vegetable empanada, should have just picked up food somewhere else and just bought coffee.

I love this place. The coffee is amazing and the experience is phenomenal. I always get the Conquistador coffee which is essentially Irish butter rimmed on the coffee cup with coffee and coconut oil. It is so good. Its perfect for bible studies, homework, or dates. Keep on Sippin and Rippin!

These guys deliver some of the best coffee in San Antonio. Ive been a fan since I first tried them off of their truck at a farmers market. It is clear they have a passion for what they serve and they do it without being pretentious. Great customer service and fantastic coffee.

Great place to relax and get some work done! Vibe is very laid back here. There arent many cushy seats but just about anywhere you sit has an outlet. I had a green tea latte with almond milk and the barista made an excellent foam on top. So good! Ill definitely be back!

Best indie coffee spot in the area! You can taste the freshness of the roast in their coffee and their espresso drinks are on point! Cappuccino, ahhhh. and the people are friendly hipster... no elite northern hipsters in the place ;) very approachable.

First time I went and felt kinda uncomfortable. I didnt know where to go or where to order and just got stared downed and didnt get much help or assistance. Not a good vibe. Definetly a place and staff that will make you feel out of placed and judged.

Hands down the most unique coffee in town. Get the drip if you like black coffee, get the latte with cereal milk if you want to be adventurous. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and relaxed environment. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The coffee is good, its not the best but its good. The environment, however, is very well kept. Indy Coffee is a very warming and welcoming place where you could lose track of your day, sipping cappuccinos and reading.

Very laid back cafe with a great vibe. Add to the fact that theyre a dog friendly cafe in San Antonio and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Great coffee - would highly recommend visiting!

Cute, hip cafe with modern decor and great lighting. Excellent service from the staff, however, they did not have any half-and-half, heavy whipping cream, or decaf espresso beans.

Some of the best esresso in town with incredible food options. Grab a Gibraltar or an eagle scout and a spiced beef empanada for a solid start to your day. Youre welcome.

I love the vanilla latte and you have to try the cereal milk latte! They soak the cereal and use the milk in a latte and its awesome, I love fruity pebbles!
