My wife was assaulted in this store by a crazed male taxi driver in this tore. She had to go to the emergency room. The assault was witnessed by the assistant manager and several customers. The store never called the police even though a crime was committed in the store and there were several witnesses. The guy fled the scene in his taxi. The police informed us if staff would have called them the police would have caught they assailant. They could of located the taxi cab driver very quickly if they were alerted. There are not many taxi cabs in the suburbs where the store is located. The security cameras in the parking lot are very poor quality and did not get the Taxi Cab number or license plate. Now my wife is afraid to go to this store by herself. Since the assault, they hired security guards. If they had security guards to begin with, the assault would most likely not of happened. If it did at least the guy would have been caught. No doubt they would not hesitate to call the police on anyone suspected of shoplifting or assaulting an employee. But not if a crime is committed against one of their customers.

I frequent Kroger, as it has been my preferred store for my family. However, today the Store Manager, Walter, appeared disheveled, unprofessional, and failed to manage the front of the store. He fails to manage customer concerns in an efficient and professional manner, and operates with a totalitarian attitude. I refuse to patronize this store in the future, due to lack of interest in the customers. There were three angry customers particularly in the line, to which he seemed to be disinterested when our concerns were voiced. Ironically, the clerk reviewed my receipt, and made the comment, "Why dont you purchase these items at Walmart? Its cheaper." I would have to agree with the previous comment that there is clearly not a difference in the level of customer service you will see exhibited at the Kroger (Shadow Creek Pkwy) and any Walmart. The details of this incident will be reported to Corporate for their review of his management style and his sub par customer relation skills.

I was at this store yesterday to purchase items for a cookout when I walked in I thought the store was amazing looked amazing anyway. As I got closer and closer to the mid part of the store I started smelling something, as I got closer and closer to the meat section this smell got a lot stronger and when you didnt think it could get worse it got even stronger. Yes Im aware they have seafood this wasnt just the typical Seafood smell not even close to just a strong Seafood smell. The meet in the display looked old there were several old meet items on the Shelf some discolored. The ones in the display were dried out and disgusting looking, some even slimy my evening of having a cookout was over I didnt even want to eat meat after that.. You have a very nice store you should reconsider your meat department.

The reason why I do not shop at Wallmart is because of their customer service. Now, yesterday I shopped at Kroger, Shadowcreek, Pearland and I would like to comment how the lady handled my produce. I got a dozen of nectarines and a medium pre cut slice of watermelon in a saran wrap. After she scanned my nectarines she rolled the open bag to the bagger and all my nectarines were rolling everywhere; my watermelon was upside down on the counter. I joked " I do not want my fruits to be a smoothie before I get home". No apology, gave me a diva face. The lady behind me attested it was done to her a couple of times she shopped there. Now, where is that Kroger Customer service that defines the difference when you shop at Wallmart????

I called to place a catering order, as I have on consecutively before. While placing my order, the female representative was rude and inhospitable. After stating what I had wanted she had placed me on "hold." While on "hold" I could hear her complain to her co worker about me calling placing the order and confessed at how annoyed she was to do her job. Once she got back on the phone, I summarized her interactions with her co worker, to which she only replied a coy "OK." I have spent so much money on the products the deli produces for over a year and after this blatant contemptuous and resentment of its customers, shows how much they care for its customers.

My reason for shopping here is much the same as anyone elses. It is clean, has a wide selection of items and is not too crowded. Prices are reasonable with sales and digital coupons on the Kroger card. That being said, they are horrible at bagging groceries. One night, I observed what appeared to be a 13 year old girl take over bagging her familys items from the employee and do a MUCH better job. OVERALL: B+

This was a nice store a couple of years ago, however, lately (6 months) every weekend and petty much weekdays as well, their are basket carts everywhere outside and none inside. I witnessed baskets in the lanes of the parking lot!!!! I will say the staff at the bank and pharmacy are extremely helpful and courteous. Just wished the outside employees would leave the cell phones alone and pay attention!!!!

Deli is not always fresh. Prepared meal type foods always look old. Several of the older employees are very rude. The stockers in the frozen food section, dairy products and produce are the nicest. Was ignored more than once at the pharmacy. I only shop here because of location and even then I usually make time to drive farther to a smaller Kroger that is 100 times better than this one.

Fast checkout over 95% of the time, friendly staff, and excellent customer service. Fuel Points are wonderful; be sure to take the survey on the receipt for an extra 50 points. They DO RESPOND to issues you point out and explain well in the surveys! Not the cheapest store in town, certainly not the most expensive, but cannot be beat as a general supermarket/drugstore.

Its a typical kroger. I havent had a bad experience, but Ive not had a blow my mind great experience either. The employees I have come across kinda ignore you and just do their job. Not mean, just not very nice. Its clean, and set up like most stores. Has the Starbucks inside... Blah blah just a typical store.

From my perspective, this Kroger misses the mark. In the mornings, there are no attendant lanes opens, just self service which is not my ideal situation. Its a flagship store that needs to up its game, especially with the concentration of choices in the immediate area.

Its one thing to hate your job, but the employees at this location have a strong I dont care attitude in particularly the one that work in the evenings, and bagging groceries is not rocket science yet these kids that work here act like its so difficult to figure out...

Well stocked, well staffed even during the peak shopping day of Saturday. Due to the extreme heat, all of the open coolers have plastic hung Accross the front to help control the temprature. However, this does make it difficult to find specific items.

Every employee has been pleasant. The store is clean. Im only giving it 4 stars because the parking garage lot can be a garbage wasteland at times and you may have to find your own cart or basket as they may not be near the entrance.
