These guys are absolutely the greatest shop I have ever done business with! They had to order parts from overseas for my bike and were STILL able to get my bike fixed in about a week, but what I was really impressed with the most was their customer service! They went above and beyond what anyone could expect from a mechanic. When I explained to the shop opperator that I was down on my luck and unable to pay the bill right away he graciously agreed to wave the storage fees and even agreed to accept payments. Every employee there was very understanding of my situation and curtious towards me, even after I explained that I was not able to pay the bill in a timely manner. They kept my bike safe and in dry covered storage free of charge for an entire month while I came up with the money to pay the bill. They accept credit card payments over the phone. They were very honest and forth coming about every detail, they even saved the old parts for me, and they worked with me every step of the way. I love this shop and would deffinately return there exclusively to do business with them even if I had to drive all the way accross town to do so. They have a wide selection of bikes, a very clean, organized, and large shop, as well as cycle gear from helmets to clothing, everything you need. +1 to these guys for helping me out! On August 27th I purchased a Harley Davidson trike in full from Johnathan. At first they were as nice as can be. I called a few months later because I didnt receive my registration, plates, or my title. Customer Service could not find my plates. First I was told they went to the wrong address. My husband came to the business in person and suddenly they found my plates. I still had no registration or title. I kept calling since then. Customer Service keeps telling me a lady by the name of Mandy will call me back. She never does. Instead, a man by the name of Tom calls me back a few days after I call them to let me know they are still working on it. Keep in mind this has been going on since last year. I looked up both my vin # online and my vin# is still titled to someone else. The plates I received are registered to a different bike and customer. I have now complained to both the attorney general and BBQ. I am also in the process of contacting a Consumer Protection attorney. Do not do business with this place!!! It is a shame I have to at least give them 1 star!!! I want my nightmare to be over!!!! I have a untitled bike sitting in my garage and I am paying insurance on it for the past 6 months!!!

Lets see where do i start. Took my 06 road king here for some very minor service. My tail lights and running lights werent working and I need an oil change. I show to pick up my bike and the light still wasnt working. The guys goes in the back and get a bulb, light come on. I leave and get 15 minutes down the freeway light now working. I call harley service and get the most horrible customer service ever!!! To add insult to injury and friend of mine told me not to take my bike there and I didnt listen. I wont even go into the rest of the atory about how I talked with a manager who told me the owner would call me to rectify the problem but never did. Word to the wise do not take your bike here. Im going back to San Jacinto Harley...may be expensive but at least itll be done right and ill get great customer service. Im telling everyone I know not to go to On The Border Cycles

I went there looking for a sissy bar for a big dog chopper I had put a deposit on already at another shop in austin, Joe took me to the back and showed me his brothers Big Dog K9, said he might sell he never rides.. John the owner called me the fallowing business day, we worked out a deal and it was done.. bike broke down four days later. . Pretty much due to being a sitting bike (expected), when I went in to find out what my damage was as far as my bil, I was told it was the ignition module, and the voltage regulator was running low and I was looking at about 490 to fix it all.. John stepped in and said it was on them that time.. so I will recommend this place to anyone!!! They stand behind their business and have GREAT Customer relations... thanks!!

If you dont like things getting done right the first, sexond or 3rd time you should definitely come here. Took 08 cbr1000rr in to get radiator fan tightened also bought new clips. Left with fairings not lined up and no clips, returned after noticed sat there for 4 hours tech noticed they put wrong oil filter on so they gave me a new one let all the oil drain into my fairings and didnt clean up. Didnt put fairings on right AGAIN then I chrcked oil which they just changed WAS LOW got them to add oil and fix fairings then I left. The lower fairing was not tightened and was flapping going down the highway. Absolutely stay away from this place and their mechanics. Will never return or ever recommend this company to anyone, even if I dont like them

I read the reviews and chose to go here anyway. Smh. My bike was having an issue and I brought it to all the border to have them diagnose it. I gave them a full list of everything I already ruled out. They had my bike for a week, I called to check on it and they said it would still be a while out before they got to it. Half an hour later I got call from them saying it was my starter. Something I told him was not the issue when I drop the bike off. They were going to charge me damn near three hundred bucks to replace the starter. Come to find out I was right and that was not the issue. Smh

Wow, a lot of mixed reviews on this place. I guess I will put in my two cents worth. I took my Kawasaki Vaquero 1700 in to have my rear tire replaced, and get an oil change. It was fast, friendly service and the best price I could find when I shopping on the Internet. While waiting my 1 1/2 hour (as quoted), to have my service completed, a lady assisted me in purchasing two helmets. She too was very friendly and helpful. So I would have to give them a good grade, and say that I would return to give them more of my business, however; I will proceed with caution.

A friend of the family went to these guys to sell his Goldwing Trike and this place sold it for him alright. They sold it and kept all the money for selling it. All $21,000 of it. Hes been going back and forth for 3 months with them and has received $8,000 of it back but thats still $13,000 that these guys have kept for themselves. This may not speak for the rest of their business but some aspects of this place are definitely shady as hell, so if you go there, do so cautiously and DONT use them to sell.
