I received a coupon in the mail for $19.99 oil change and Ive used this coupon and had other vehicles serviced here multiple times. However my last visit was not good at all. I presented this coupon to Jesus to which he replied he cant honor this coupon. His reason was its a 5 quart limit and my vehicle took 6. I asked him if he would just put in 5 and I will purchase one from the store. He said I would need to pay a higher price in order to do that $30. Also, I would have to sign a waiver stating they would not accept responsibility for any damages to my vehicle. I said thats fine. Well, Alex the assistant service dept. manager walks over and Jesus says, "can you believe this guy only wants to add 5 quarts to his vehicle, thats really dumb isnt it." To which Alex replies, "yeah thats stupid, he must be stupid, dont help him." I laughed because I thought these two idiots were joking. Not so. Their pizza arrived right then and he starts eating. I said, well are you going to take my keys or what? He turned around and said, "dude I already told you we arent going to service your vehicle." I was shocked and told him I actually thought they were joking. I told him well I dont appreciate you two calling me stupid and dumb. I told him its rude and unprofessional to which he replied,"if you are going to just sit there and lecture then just leave." What! I said its not right talking to customers that way. Jesus then said, "if you dont like it call the 1 800 number and complain." Its unbelievable the level of apathy these these people have. As many complaints as Ive read here and obviously the owner hasnt done a thing about it. This place will go out of business if it doesnt changes its ways.

Parts manager is a jerk spoke with him on the phone this past weekend about the warranty on my battery for my car and it was purchased using the discount for when I worked for a car dealership and he flat refused to do anything and basically told me that they looked it up and wasnt in the system first off he wouldnt know cause I never told him what kinda car I had or did I give him a part number to reference to just the name of the battery and then he went on to say that he wasnt going to warranty the battery because it would be fraud and said this multiple times when talking with this parts manager and he didnt know who gave me permission to use the account that has nothing to do with a warranty or a purchase done when I used it when i use to work for car dealership and if its a warranty item purchased through a commercial account the warranty has to be done through that and he went on to tell me that I have to do it through retail and told him a rough idea of when I bought it cause I cant find my receipt and I told him i bought it at the end of July toward the middle of August is all I remember and he said not going to warranty it well guess what I called the 800 pepboys to make a serious complaint against the parts manager for being a complete jerk and had extremely horrible customer service. And no where is it fraud if I bought this when I worked for a car dealership using the discount and paying with my own hard earned money to buy the battery

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They are liars and WILL steal your money. Here is why - My 1998 Honda Accord broke down on the road on March 8th and I happened to be less than a mile from this Pep Boys. I had it towed there and their diagnosis was that my timing belt broke, and that I would have to replace the timing belt, balance belt, and worst of all - rebuild my engine. I had just had the timing belt replaced, so I figured they were either lying or didnt know what they were doing. I had it towed from the store to my friends house, who is a mechanic that works for Lexius. He inspected the car and found absolutely NOTHING wrong with my timing belt, balance belt, or my engine. The serpentine belt fell off and needed to be replaced - that is it. More importantly, my friend also found that the mechanics from Pep Boys removed the harmonic balancer and dislodged the woodruff key - which in my opinion, is a criminal act. They purposefully removed and dislodged vital components that my engine needs and gave me a completely false and outrageously expensive diagnosis. If it werent for my friend, I would have been at the mercy of their idiotic diagnosis, and would have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on completely unneeded repairs. Dont trust them. Dont go there. Dont think about going there. They are liars. Especially Daniel. Avoid this place. Period.

Went in for alignment & within 4 days (and 3 visits) they "disgnosed" issues that were at first a $300 issue to $1000 issue in that time. I was treated like an idiot because I actually have quite a bit of knowledge about my car and do all the repair work. With the $1000 quote I was told the parts they said needed to be replaced (that were less than 2 years old) were bad & I must be using cheap parts. The thing that blew my mind was in 4 days I went from a $300 estimate to $1000 estimate just for an alignment. I did the work and got the parts for both repairs for a little over $100, repaired the issues, found another location to do the alignment and confirm the perceived issues were just that, perceived. All quoted problems were not problems. If you know nothing about cars and habe tje money to spend then this is your place. If you dont know cars and dont have the money, stay away. The company, in the meantime got my review from another sight & asked me to detail the experience. That was 3 weeks ago and no one had contacted me back. I am assuming they just think Im a crazy, dumb woman.

Do Not go to this store. They do a great job of wasting your time. 1st time (2 weeks ago). They kept my car for 4 hours to try to find a leak in my tire. They didnt. Discount Tire did in under 30 minutes. 2nd time was today. I had a scheduled appointment for 0800 & informed them of the "check engine" light being on and according to Onstar, it had to do with the emissions system. They had to do a diagnostic (expected but was ridiculously over priced at $99). Then they were to get back to me with possible solutions. They didnt. I called them 4 hours later @ which time David informs me of the parts needed and they havent talked with the dealer yet. 3 hours later (total of 7), David calls me with parts & labor & that they need another day to install them. So now a full day of my time is wasted when I couldve had it taken care of @ Classic Chevrolet in shorter time than Pepboys had the vehicle and for the same price. I didnt even get an appology from David for my inconvenience just "I have to pay my boys." I wont be back and will spread it to my company not to come here.
