Have you ever been snubbed by personnel when shopping around? Well this is what happened to me at Maripoza Boutique. Instead of opting to go public, I sent the following private message to the owner: After having been told what a great little boutique this place was I decided to try it out and loved it. My daughters and I really like unique pieces and I dont think there are enough boutiques in the valley. Anyway, I first went to old location looking for something for my daughters bday, and I found a lot of things shed like, about $400 in things. The second time I went, I took my daughter so she could see for herself, we made a $250 purchase. The third time I went in, it was the owners bday and I went it to purchase some leggings. The leggings were about $15. This time the owner wasnt too nice. Miniature RGV cupcakes were being offered because of the owners bday and it wasnt until check out that the owner hesitantly offered by daughter one after my daughter noticed them. My daughter politely declined to accept one. My point is this, the owner (not the girls working) customer service is AWFUL. She didnt remember me spending over $600 the previous few weeks, but had her nose up in the air when I went to purchase $15 leggings (leggings that i purchased for the second time, because the 1st pair had a hole, but decided not to make an issue of it). Im very vocal and express when service is not up to par, and you are an example of this. Youve lost a customer due to your crappy customer service. I will not go public, because I dont intend to ruin your business, but If asked I will say, you all discriminate. Change your approach to customers regardless of purchase amount and I guarantee youll be more successful. Just some feedback from a merchant/consumer. I will stick with Francescas and or driving to SA but refuse to ever spend a single penny at your store again. Much success ladies. Wish you well. -rs The owner did not respond, rather her attorney did (since according to attorney XXX, ([thats what gets paid to do]). Snubbed again by the owner who didnt have the decency to apologize. So perhaps of happy girls jumping in the air, their advertisements should consist of a snobby owner with a pouty cupcake face.

What a fabulous place Maripoza Boutique happens to be. In my world travels, I seek out unique locations in which to shop and recommend them to friends, family and colleagues so that they, too, may enjoy the unique items and such wonderful personalities of the beautiful young ladies who work there just as I do every chance I have to drop in. They are so knowledgeable on each and every item in the store and the owner has the best customer service Ive ever experienced and so does her staff. I frequent the lovely boutique when I am in Texas, about 3 times and year, and use the online store when not in the area. Miss Erica and her team of beauties are the most helpful people I have encountered while on my international shopping ventures. Upon reading the other reviews, I see that one Ruby S. is very unsatisfied. I find her review rather suspicious being that it has been written 5 months after her so-called bad experience. I can say that on that particular day, the ambiance was joyous, as it was mentioned, it was the owners birthday, and they had the most inviting spread for all to partake and help celebrate the occasion. My twin daughters, who happened to be with me on this visit, enjoyed the delicious cupcakes by the famous RGV Cupcake Factory, and so did I as it was also my birthday! A great time was had by all. Sure, I love my worldwide shopping sprees but my daughters and I are sure to visit Maripoza Boutique when in Texas because it is such a great place to shop and receive VIP treatment from any of the young ladies there.

I love this store! Everything they sell is great, and the customer service is exceptional. Regarding the negative comments by Ruby S., I was at the store with a couple of my friends on that day. I remember because it was a week before a big college football game I was going to see, and I stopped by the store for something to wear. The store was full of happy shoppers who were having a good time celebrating the owners birthday. The only person in the store who was rude and inappropriate was Ruby S. She was rude to everyone, including her own child. I felt so sad for her daughter. I am sure she is only making these COMPLETELY FALSE claims because she has some ulterior motives (maybe shes friends with a competing stores owner????). Anyway, I am glad Maripoza Boutique is in the RGV. Its the best place in town to shop!!!
