Terrible! Simply terrible. I called these guys in the morning of 4/22, and told them Im in Cailfornia, and I would like to check the availability of the car (2012 Hyundai Sonata) which is listed on their website for $8998. The salesman said that he would check on it, and get back. I call him back and he tells me that its a typo on the website, and that car is Hyundai Elantra and Sonata. In my mind, Im thinking how is a a typo possible if that Sonata which not only has the VIN listed on their website, but also has the photos. Anyway, 5 mins later, the salesman messages me photos saying that its a Sonata and its still there. Thereafter, I ask them for an Out-the-door cost including the shipping cost to California. We talk 10 mins. later, and the salesman tells me that since Im not financing to them, his Sales Manager can only sell it to me for $12,500 (which includes a $1500 shipping charge from Longview, TX to Los Angeles, CA and $1000 certification charge). $2000 more??? Ridiculous. I tell him..how about I fly into Longview, TX tomorrow, so I will save on the shipping charge, and I told him that I dont need the Certification because the car is listed as Certified on the Website. He said No, and the only way he would be able to sell it, is with the $1000 certification adder, so total out the door for $11,000 since I would be flying in. (And also, since I am buying the Car out of state, Im not paying Sales Tax to Texas, I would be paying about $1000 to CA since I would be registering the car in CA after I bring the car back to CA). My total cost including everything said and done (Car, taxes, docs, title, tags and flight = $12,500). So, I told him that I would get back to him in some time on how are we going to proceed. He messages in an hour saying that they already sold the car to someone. GREAT! I dont believe in negativity but at all time, but we require to be professional. Yes, financially, Longview of Texas would have made money, but I just want you all to be aware that they are unethical. Sometimes, in the process of making money, we forget to be humans. The salesman was working really hard to close the deal but his sales manager is the culprit, and his name is Evan.

BEWARE!!! Crooked sales staff, financial manager and general manager will not follow-up nor follow through with underhanded finance practices. May 30, walked in with letter from our bank for $40,000+ car loan approval to purchase a $10,000 car. Salesman ask if they could run our credit through Hyundais in house credit because they get $200. With great credit, we say sure. Huge mistake! 33 credit inquires, letters start pouring in where they submitted above our negotiated price and cars worth! Their actions dropped our credit 58 points in one afternoon at Hyundai of Longview! Multiple messages, emails, meeting with both general manager and finance manager, no action, no care, no concerns, nothing! Since, we have reported to 700Credit who has gotten the owner involved. He stated all credit company were being sent certified letters to correct their action. Now August, still absolutely no correction to our credit damages, all 33 inquires made, without our knowledge on May 30 by Hyundai of Longview. We did leave with a car, no money down, expecting all was great. NOT, when 33 letters arrive from credit companies proving car was over priced and Hyundai submitted multiple times over the negotiated price! What should have been a pleasant first car for our daughter has been a nightmare, none of us will forget. No courtesy call, follow-up, nothing, they dont care! Should have believed a past customer rating quote: Once they get your money, you are dead to them. Makes you wonder how many $200 kickbacks they get by running your credit 33 times = $6600. Will never do business with Hyundai of Longview. A valuable lesson they get $200 for running your credit and take full advantage.

Contacted this dealership about a truck of theirs that I saw online, Im two hour from them . Had all my questions answered and decided to do an over the phone credit app. Talked to the sales manager originally, then the finance manager took the app. He called me back and said everything looked good and he would get back with me in thirty minutes. After waiting about three hours I got a call from a woman that works at the dealership that said the truck I was dealing on has been sold. I asked to speak with the two people I had been working on the deal with and she said they were not available . My wife and I called repeatedly to try and talk to someone in charge ,to no avail. All this after pulling my credit. Please take my advise, dont walk , run from this dealership. They are unethical and do not care about the customer at all. I was wondering why their reviews are so bad online, I found out the hard way. I actually went to Randall Reed Prestige Ford in Garland Tx. They know the meaning of customer service and ethnics. Worked a great deal on a $40,000. Truck that Im super happy with. Hyundai Longview is a joke , dont waste your time with these unethical losers. Being In the type of business that my wife and I are in , we know and meet a lot of people and I promise we will be spreading the word about this business!

I went to Hyundai of Longview just to show my wife that the Hyundai Genesis was a car that should be in the mix as we decided on a new car. We had looked at the Cadillac AtS, Lincoln MKZ, and Kia Cadenza, and I had looked at others online--Lexus and Chevrolet Impala, and Buick Regal. I actually did not intend to buy a car that morning--we just had some time and I convinced the wife that we should at least look at the Genesis. We had driven Lincoln MKZs for the past ten years, and were inclined to go that way this time as well. (I think it was the Lincoln dealers insulting presumption that we were "in the bag" that convinced my wife to give the Genesis a look.) Although I wanted to look at the Genesis, I wanted to keep looking as well, not stopping until we had driven every option. However, the Hyundais salesmans attitude was such a refreshing difference from what we had encountered elsewhere, that we were persuaded to stop our search with the Genesis.
