June 22- 2017 The insanity continues. Prices are so high, items set and do not sale. I suggest everyone take your donations somewhere else. There is no mission here other than making money! MAY 3-2017 update : note to supervisor. Black girl working cash register on this day seems to have issues. Was not very friendly moved without any speed urgency with her job. Procrastination and blatant willfully moving as slow as she possibly can in order for a line to build forcing someone else to work a different cash register. You have some type of issue here suggest you address it. Prices are still obscenely over prized. The normal seen in the store now is reduced signed on products that will not sell because they want to much for it. These new procedures have run off loyal customers. You can now buy the same item is brand-new on the Internet like eBay or other stores like Walmart. I recommend everyone taking your donations elsewhere. They have not proven there is any mission be on making money for their selves same employees working every day nothing has changed except prices or grossly higher. Everything is overpriced. Occasionally you can find things that are priced fairly but its rare. I am astonished at how much things are marked up that they get for free. They have started googling items and putting competitive pricing contemporary with eBay and pawnshops this is extremely offensive. For example some of these items were for sale at a garage sale and still have the price tags showing marker a dollar, but Goodwill has marked it up to $20 ??? I thank its time we take our donations somewhere else. Theses places listed below will take donations! The Longview Dream Center on Gilmer Road. Or Thrif Shop 600 west Upshur street Gladewater Texas.

Horrible customer service. I understand youre getting paid minimum wage, but customer service is everything. I will not return. The girl who was checking me out did not once look at me, never said anything, but she was all in her phone. I was going to ask for a manger but I was in a rush. If you dont like your job find another one! I am a store manager and will never let my associates let my customers feel like how I felt. Manager you need to work on your team. One thing I will say was that it was neat and clean.

I hadnt been there since they re-did the inside, so I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the interior was. I also like their system of displaying prices on a sign rather than with individual price tags. But that brings me to my one disappointment. On my last visit, I needed to buy some pants for my six-month-old daughter. I thought Id pay 50 cents or $1 a pair, as infant pants brand new at Target cost $5. However, they are selling USED infant clothes for $1.99 per item, which is a touch unreasonable.

After having called on my way to the store to make sure I could drop off a donation, the same employee who told me "yes" over the phone refused to accept my donation because "they like to leave early". Then I was told that I could try again tomorrow. My donation will now be going to a different organization.

Pricing is way to high. Asking $1 for each cassette of a pack of 30 cassette is ridiculous!! That pkg was only $25 brand new 15 years ago. When things are donated to help others it is sad to Goodwill is choosing to take advantage of buyers. This is why no one likes to go there or donate anymore to Goodwill.
