I am a Texan lived in KC, MO for five years too. Bought the Texas Hot Links to eat at home. I know my sausage. Have sworn by sausage from central Texas for years. The home made hot links from here are BAR NONE the best damn sausage links I have ever tasted or eaten. They are huge and they are meaty and they are tasty. I live near downtown Dallas so cant get up to Lewisville often but when I do this is where I will eat. And their homemade Pimento Cheese sandwich isnt bad either. And I havent even tried their meat from the counter. Dont make miss this place people

Small old style butcher shop. Literally the best meat for miles. They will hand trim most cuts, even preseason it for you if you ask. In addition to the butchers glass racks, theres a supporting "grocery wall " where youll find other traditional items like Amish butter, cheeses and other one offs... All in all, a great place that will run you a few extra dollars, but the increase in quality more then makes up for it. Next time you have company info town, go an extra step and buy your meat here.

I absolutely love the idea of this place but their jerky, meat sticks, beef salami and beef sausage are all way too SALTY. My family and friends have tasted these products and all agree. I mentioned it to the butcher (wonderful guy), waited a few months but nothing has changed. :( So sad, because I enjoy supporting local businesses and have no problem separating my shopping to buy our meat products here. I hope my review here will garner some attention and changes. I look forward to returning.

We have lunch at the Old Town Market at least once in two weeks... actually nearly every Friday. Friday is BBQ day. I LOVE the rib plate with potato salad and cole slaw. Or get yourself a hotlink sandwich/plate (they are named HOT on purpose :) We also got us some fresh steaks for our own bbq at home, they all were excellent. And the best innovation of Old Town Market is that they are open until 6 PM on Wednesday and Fridays now.

Another trip to our hometown meat market. Its their annual May Anniversary - bacon wrapped filet special. Today we also bought Jalapeño Cheese brats and baby Swiss cheese, which they slice if you want. Saturdays are busy, but the line waiting camaraderie and conversation is always fun!

My 1st visit today! The sliced BBQ Sandwich was very good and tender! So many great choices of meats, seasonings, rubs and more! I will be back soon for some meat! Very nice, clean store. The staff were all busy and knowledgeable. Love the setup and feel of this market.
