This post involves the special order option of Home Depot May 14th a door was ordered and paid for Expected 2week ship time Called may 31st told arrival date of June 1st Scheduled contractor for June 5th Went to pick up door on June 5th The door was never received Customer service calls the Stevens door company and is told they have a 21 day lead time and door is not ready The consumer is out money for scheduling contractor because no product a fee is incurred June 7th consumer calls Stevens door company They are informed of the following Order submitted may 16th 2 days after may 14th order date And door will not be shipped until the week of June 12th In the meantime consumer cannot schedule a contractor and you ask yourself if this is a ploy by homedepot since their install services were not used to install door. This is a large organization and I cannot believe that the contract with the door maker is not written within the spirit to help the consumer. Speaking with management does not resolve the problem because consumer still leaves without product only that they forward issue to regional and corporate management. I believe a review of system and contractual obligations in place should be reviewed and retuned in the spirit of consumer 1st. Rene munoz It is June 13th 2017 and still no door . Rene Munoz It is June 14th 2017 situation the same But received call from automated service informing me door was shipped procedure calls for door to arrive on Friday with other special orders it has been a full month which is longer than 21 work days . The responsibilities of informing the consumer of issues which arise with orders what ever they are relies on the depot .if the product you are wanting is behind schedule because of material shortages then you should be told. Deal with the realities and inform your consumer it is better to Wait due to shortages of materials which conveys that an American company is striving to keep up with demand Rene munoz

I order a water nozzle and engine oil for my lawnmower online around lunch time. When I got off from work I went straight over to the store thinking I was going to get there and get my stuff right away. I got to Home Depot around 5:00p.m. When I got to the pick up section a lady started helping me. She said one item was ready but the other wasnt. A second lady started helping the first lady that was helping me because there was something wrong. The second lady told me that my order wasnt ready and that she was going to get my stuff ready. Now everything I order was in stock at this location. The ladies pulled me to the side so they could help other customers. 10min passed and they were still busy with other customers. I had to go find the stuff I ordered and I brought it to the checkout section. When my turn was approaching to check out, one of the ladies told me to go to the pick up section so I could be released. So by then I was already losing my patience. So I go to the pick up section and a third lady started helping me because the second lady left and the First Lady was helping other customers. The third lady was figuring out how to release me and took a while. All of this happen and by the time I was release and got to my car in the parking lot I checked the time and it was 5:39! So I literally waited 40min. to get my stuff. This was ridiculous. I am never going to order something online that is in stock at this location. I rather look for it myself and get on with my business.

I went into the store restrooms and not only were they filthy but there was no toilet paper to be found. then I went to lawn and garden and look for the most common Toro blade made and there were none in its spot I had one of the store associates scan the barcode and there should have been into boxes six blade in each available for sale. After getting multiple store associates help no one was able to locate two entire boxes of blades. I went to Lowes next and before I even got to the lawn mower there were two people asking if they could help me.

Terrible service! Called them to set up service for water heater replacement. A few days later on my appointment day they run late and finally call me to say they are running late.. Duh.. Its already late. Then an hour after that they call to say that I am out of their service area and will not be able to do it at all. I call back a few days later to register a complaint and the man tells me that he is so sorry and will resolve the issue only to transfer me back to the same plumbing company that jerked me Around in the first place! Horrible!

I go to this HD regularly and 1/10 visits I go in the store and find a lumber cart without going back to the parking lot to get a lumber cart. When I look through the lumber that is suppose to be No2 lumber I go through 1/2 to 3/4 of a pallet to get 10-30 straight boards. I will say the tool rental section is well staffed, but has recently increased their prices and are now about the same price as tool rental places locally.

Very helpful staff today. Except in paint department. Lady at the paint desk all but crawled under the desk to stay on her phone and away from me. Lady walking from Lawn & Garden found exactly what aisle and what bay my product was. She was a very efficient employee as she was helping several people at the same time.

Better than Lowes but Home Depot personal seem to go out of there way to avoid you at all cost. Finding a floor Manager is near Impossible. Customer service needs evaluation soon. So far the only helpful personal was Ryan in equipment rentals! Thanks for all you do there Ryan.
