Positive Outlook

The prices are great. The people working there are amazing. I very much enjoy going to Home Depot. Theres just been one issue that I have seen deteriorate in the past few years. Thats the womens bathroom. Ever since the manager took over from Humble and transfer to Porter. He has stop hiring a company to clean the bathrooms. The womens bathroom is disgusting now. And has been and worsening since hes been there. Take a close look at The toilet seats it is jagged ,constantly dirty, holding bacteria in the plastic. The lights covers are all broken off , so all you see is the light bulbs. The vent has never been cleaned ,so all you see is dust flying everywhere. Theres about a centimeters worth of dust sitting all over the Stalls. Theres graffiti now in the Stalls. Theres never soap in there. Some of the toilets no longer work. The sinks are coming off the walls. Fire department access water lines are accessible even to children now. This fire suppression sprinkler systems are breaking off the wall above. They no longer put paper towels in the rolls, they just sit on top. Im hoping management looks at this. I will change my rating once its corrected. But enough is enough. Youre female and going to Home Depot and would like to enjoy yourself for hours there and spend your money, then get the urge to use the restroom youre just going to end up leaving to go somewhere else. Home Depot needs to pressure this manager to bring back the cleaning company. And allow the employees of Home Depot to be out with customers. Again I give a 5 star to the employees. And Home Depot youre going to be a one-star until you correct this.

Im certainly not trying to get anyone in trouble but I will post this so perhaps what happened to me wont happen again. I drove from cleveland to come buy some knock out roses, I asked the young employees that were working in the garden center if they had any knock out roses and both of them told me "No, there was a lady just here wanting some roses and we could find any, we are sold out of all roses" (long story short) as I walked around the garden center I found an entire end cap and table full off knock out roses. Then I asked for some help getting some bags of soil and after waiting 30 minutes for help, I decided to get the soil myself and cut 3 of my fingers on the pallets.

Love The Home Depot. Its rare that I can get out of one having not stalked every aisle in hopes of finding some as yet unknown to me handy home improvement implement. That being said, the only way to ruin the experience for me is with bad employees. So keep it tight, Depot. And I love the app, saves me time by telling me 1. Which Depot is closest 2.if my part is in stock and 3. Which aisle and bay said item is located so I can get in and out like a SEAL team rescuing an oil executive from some third world hole in the wall.

It took me over an hour to get someone to get me a mower. The display is right by the service desk and when i ask the service desk for help, they called tge garden center guy up. He did not want to work. He sighed as if i was bothering him. Once we got the mower to my trailer, i needed to rearrange some item to make it fit. He didnt hang around to help. During the check out, the service desk personnel was more intrested in their idol gossip and banter than serving tge customers waiting.

I worked at this store and I will just tell you now....they do NOT care about their employees. They are very rasist and homophobic! If you are a person if any other race besides white they will fire you when it is convenient for them. They do not like gay people at all and I have signed statements from employees stating that management has planned to fire me because they found out I was gay! Now I am jobless....go figure

While shopping for stair treads, my husband was told by a big, rude employee, "you have to get out of here cause were gonna use the forklift." The other Home Depots we go to will help you get what you need first and then politely let you know. They are always rude and unhelpful here and when I tried to call to complain could not speak to a manager. Well just make the extra drive to go elsewhere from now on.

All the hardware for the chain link fencing is the wrong size for the post they sell. Same thing with the rain gutters, parts dont fit the gutter they sell. Talked with 4 employees that seem to know absolutely nothing, no help at all. Cant get through the lumber isles with a cart because of all the unstocked material stacked in the middle. Dont waste your time, go on down the street to Lowes.

I can think of a much better way to use the building that the Home Depot in Porter Texas occupies, maybe a skating rink, bowling alley, even a pet kennel, cause these bunch of fools are not in the business of helping customers with home improvement and repair needs. Fire everyone there, move the inventory, and make room for something else that might actually serve the consuming public..

Absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. Even after you call the store on your cell phone from inside the store they say theyre going to send a manager but nobody shows up. Somebody said that its better than Lowes because you can find people. That may be right but everybody we found said they cant help us because we have to speak to the electrical person who is at lunch.

I love this store. I usually get very good service here and twice at least have gotten exceptional service! One time an employee even helped put a door in my car even though he was off the clock and going home! There have been times when some employees didnt know their inventory as well as Id like but for the most part everyone is friendly and very helpful!

If you cant find it at Home Depot Im not sure your home needs it. Ive always had a great experience at the store. I have you then in a kitchen remodel garage door installation and I go there day to day buy things. The store is clean and the staff are very helpful. Unlike the Lowes you can find people there all over to help you.

I love this place and so does my wife. We have spent several thousands of dollars here. From plants and trees, to tools and toilets. Sometimes the help is a little scarce, but I have a pretty good idea of what is needed for our project. I will be going again shortly for the wifes birthday. She really is into gardening big time.

Great customer service! I recently purchased a 12 gallon/Rigid shop vac from them earlier in the fall of 2016. The motor failed in Jan. 2017, so I talked with them about my options. Very helpful in every way and allowed me to exchange for the exact model even though the warranty period had expired.

Made my order on line bc they said it was easier.asked for it to be put wrapped up for my pick up and not only was it not on a pallet or wrapped. I enjoyed loading it myself...your service sucks...Next time Ill go to Lowes..Even though they are more expensive, the service is so much better.
