DO NOT come here for piercings. The first time I came here to get my septum pierced, the piercer did it crookedly. On the one side that was too low I got a huge bump from the ring going through cartilage instead of the sweet spot of my septum. Ive now spent over $100 dollars trying to heal it. Not worth it at all. The second time I came here (dont ask me why I came again), I came to get my ears pierced. An amateur without a license was my piercer and she had to pierce my ears twice because she did it incorrectly the first time. They still charged me the full amount. Youre MUCH better off getting piercings done by a professional at Texas Body Art even if they cost a little more.

my friend/artist Jassim recently moved to this shop. he has been tattoiong me for over 4 years and even was nice enough to pretty much teach me many things in the art of tattooing(which i am forever grateful for cause not often an artist will teach you anything). he is a great artist and an awesome/chill person who is very straight up and honest. before i started coming to him i didnt know anything about the whole art and was getting crap house tats or overpaying at ok shops around houston but ive been lucky enough to see him get better and better while tattooing me threw the years. very professional at his work and highly recommended...

I am visiting from california and I spontaneously wanted to get a tattoo. Randomly found this place and found urban life. First thing I noticed was that they were super clean and sanitary. All the staff was extremely welcoming and fun. They offered us food and personally sat down with me to discuss my tattoo. I got a great deal on my tattoo. My artist was Tony. He was AWESOME!!!! Super nice and funny! He had a very light and steady hand. Tattoo didnt hurt too bad. He did an amazing job! I definitely recommend this place for a tattoo! I will be coming back for sure next time I visit! =)

We were referred to Urban Life Tattoos from a friend of ours. My wife came into the shop to get a tattoo to remember our daughter Chewee (a long-haired Chihuahua) that suddenly passed away. We were treated very well by everyone in the shop and made us very comfortable, especially with the amount of empathy that they showed us. The Tattoo Artist (Tony) was very careful with the work that he did, but kept us laughing while she was in pain. I will probably get a tattoo myself sometime and will definitely do it here. Thanks to Tony, Carlos, and the rest of the Urban Life Team.

I got my first and fourth tattoo done by Brown and I always receive compliments on them both. The lines are finely done and he was very careful because he wants his work to look as good as years pass. I will definitely keep going to him, not going to lie. :) His work that I have seen on his Facebook page is great as well!! Hes also a very patient and chill person. I love both of my tatts and I would recommend him to anyone! So Urban Life is lucky to have him and from what I hear Urban Life is an amazing place to get tatted at! Cannot wait to visit! :)

I recently moved to Houston and decided to get a 2nd tattoo for my birthday. After doing many research on tattoo shops, I decided to pick Urban Life Tattoo and Im so glad I did! Joe was my tattoo artist, and he did such an amazing job. He truly cares and listens to his clients to make sure how you want your tattoo exactly. Ive gone to various tattoo shops for piercings and my 1st tattoo, and Urban Life has by far treated me the best. They are some of the most humble & nicest tattoo artists youll meet.

Ive actually gone to urban tattoo two times now, and each time Ive loved going. Its one of the best experiences Ive had in a shop. The work is amazing, the shop is clean, and the prices are truly the best. I wouldnt go anywhere else to get a tattooand ill probably be returning prety soon to get another one. My first tattoo was done by Tony, and the second one was done by Art, i recommend both of them they are really chill to work with and make sure its done exactly how you want it. :)

Came in as a walk in.. worst tattoo experience of my life. I have tattoos and Ive NEVER had a tattoo hurt before! The artist spoke no English so it was beyond hard to communicate and my skin was sore to the point when he wiped it with the paper towel I winced. i was so dissatisfied with the tattoo I regretfully paid and left. Im already thinking of ways to have a more skilled artist fix it. This was the worst tattoo experience of my life!

The shop was meticulously clean, and customer service was above and beyond great.Shading, line work and saturation were so amazing. I couldnt have asked for anything else with this tattoo and I wouldnt change a thing about my experience. It was well worth the hour drive across Houston.

Joe did an amazing thigh piece for me recently, Ive gotten so many compliments and I would recommend him any day. I had no idea how i wanted my piece done and hes extremely cooperative and clearly knew what he was talking about from the minute we started. If you want a place where you can get a good price for a well worth it tattoo than you came to the right place. Any other place Im sure theyd charge an arm and a leg for my shoulder tattoo but as soon as I came in and voiced my concerns and budget, Joe told me he had no problem working with it and finding a way to make me happy.
