THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THIS STORE HAS SOME UNIQUE ITEMS AND PIECES. BUT UNFORTUNATELY I WASNT IMPRESSED, AT ALL. THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER (SLIM. LONG DARK HAIR) THAT WAS HELPING MY FRIEND AND I OUT WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! AND ACTUALLY HAD THE AUDACITY TO WALK AWAY WHEN FINDING THAT WE BOTH WERE NOT GOING TO BUY ANYTHING OR PUT SOMETHING DOWN FOR A LAYAWAY. WE WERE ONLY THERE BECAUSE WE HAD SOME TIME TO SPARE BEFORE GOING INTO WORK....BUT EVEN SO, $350 FOR A SIMPLE MOSAIC OPAL SILVER RING????!!! REALLY.? -----OR TRYING TO SELL JAMES AVERY JEWELRY FOR DOUBLE WHAT THEYD BE IF YOU JUST WENT TO THE STORE?...I WOULD ADVISE GIVING YOUR TIME AND BUSINESS TO ANOTHER ESTABLISHMENT, ONE THAT REALLY CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS AND IS ABLE TO OFFER YOU SOMETHING THAT IS NOT ONLY A GOOD PRICE BUT SOMETHING THATS WORTH PUTTING ON YOUR BODY....

For the past approximately 20 years I have been going to Silverlust. Herschel, the owner, has always been extremely helpful. Recently with the passing of my mother, I found myself with numerous pieces of her jewelry, and no idea what to do with them. At this same time I was getting engaged. Herschel not only came up with ideas for re-using my Mothers pieces but also guided me in the right direction on a one of a kind piece for my partners wedding ring (as well as my own). I now have originally designed wedding rings, as well as heirloom pieces for my family, all with my Mothers jewelry and Herschels brilliant and tasteful assistance. The service I have received over the years from the entire staff has been flawless. The pricing and quality cannot be beat. If you want the best and not go bust, go to Silverlust!

Silverlust ROCKS! The inventory is so diverse - you just dont find this stuff anywhere else in town or on line! The hand designed silver, silver and gold, and variety of gems and precious stones seems limitless. If I have a single complaint its that you have too many choices, but help is always there to focus on the mission at hand - whether a gift or personal. The people there are very creative and helpful. The very best part of my experience with Silverlust is their ability to repair jewelry Im no longer wearing, or re-purpose old gold and silver into new jewelry designed that I would wear. Very cool creative thinking and easy process. Give it a try folks, I recommend for engagements, gifts and just spoiling yourself, as Ive done many times!

Im from out of state and happen to be in town for an art class and decided to look around on line for a diamond for my nose. I thought that they would blow me off like most, but they were wonderful over the phone and had options for me to consider. Someone who could talk over the phone is priceless in this day and age. It made me gps the spot and I was there the next day. The google photo is unflattering, because inside the store is very presentable, and Herschel and his assistant made me feel very special. They even were able to deal with my husband who ended up picking up a piece for himself. Thank you to the staff for adding to my collection, and I definitely will be back.

I was looking for a Japanese/Chinese symbol pendant for a gift the same day - everyone kept telling me to look online but since I needed it same day that was obviously not going to work. I ran around to several stores locally before I finally came here. They said all they needed was a picture and they would custom cut it. I explained that I needed the gift for dinner that night and their work load allowed them to have it for me before they closed! I was able to give my gift that evening and it was very much appreciated! Erik was awesome and they even wrapped it in a great box and bag...presentation was great!

Absolutely love the jewelry - beautiful pieces at very reasonable prices. Huge selection. The staff are the best in the world if you need help finding a gift or a piece of jewelry for a special occasion. They have taken my old jewelry and created something new and wonderful that I love to wear. I am warning you though - Silverlust is a dangerous place if you are trying to save money. I rarely walk out of there without something new. Still - it is the best retail therapy around.

This is the best place to buy jewelry in Houston! Silverlust has some amazing and unique items. I got my fiances engagement ring custom made here. The owner was extremely helpful in the design and during the entire process. We just went back to get a wedding band made to match the engagement ring. The work that they do is amazing and it is reasonably priced. I strongly recommend Silverlust to anybody in the market for quality jewelry.

I also got a pearl necklace which was very reasonably priced for the how high the quality was. I just ordered a matching necklace to go with my ring. This place is a one-stop-shop for me. Sadly I lost an expensive watch here a couple years ago. I went in to get batteries, get one cleaned and about 5 watches resized and I ended up buying a ring. When I went to pick up the watches they were basically thrown at me and I didnt realize I didnt have one until months later (when I decided to use it). Ill never come here again. Completely disappointed with the entire experience.

On the phone I was quoted a price for jewelry repair. At the store I was quoted the same price. I left the jewelry for repair. When I came to pick it up they charged me double the price! Liars.
