I was at my Randals Store in Champions Forest on 1960 tonight, 05/27/15, buying just a handful of items for dinner. I grabbed two yellow onions from a stack of yellow onions that had a huge sign that said .99 cents per lb. At the register, the cashier typed in the sku# on the onions and it came up as Vidalia Onions for $1.29 per lb. I pointed out they should be .99 cents per lb. and he said no problem, they probably put the wrong sticker on the onion, Ill change it. Unfortunately the cashier couldnt find the sku# for yellow onions so the manager was called. The manager came up to the register and the cashier explained that the onions had the wrong sticker and that they needed to ring as yellow onions. She typed in the sku# on the onions and told the cashier, without acknowledging my presence whatsoever, that the onion is whats on the sticker and thats how it needs to be charged. As she turned her back to me to walk away, I spoke out and explained to her that I grabbed them from a pile that said .99 cents per lb. and she said that the ones I had brought were going to be charged as per the sticker at $1.29 per lb. So I asked her if I needed to go back and get two yellow onions instead? She said yes. I go back to the pile marked .99 cents per lb. and find that all onions on that pile have a "Vidalia onion" sku#! At that time, a Randalls employee comes out from the produce doors and I ask him about this. He says he ran out of yellow onions and so he put Vidalia onions on that pile instead. He dug through the pile and handed me two onions without a sticker and he said those were the yellow onions. I said to him that without the sticker on them, they might charge them as Vidalia onions. He said just tell them what I said. So I did. I went back to the register and the cashier and bagger were able to ring it up as yellow onions. The manager saw me at the register but avoided eye contact so I waved her down and told her the story about the mix up in her produce dpt. She said: "so he expects us to know that he put the wrong onions?!" I told her that it sounded like an internal problem to me and not an issue that a customer needs to sort out. She said: "we cant know these things at the register". I told her that it was such a small issue for her to have had her customer go back to the produce dpt. to figure it out. She said: "I didnt ask you to go get onions, you volunteered!" I shrugged my shoulders and lifted both hands in the air in disbelief as she turned her back to me and walked away. I could only say out loud: "you have awful customer service skills!" Not what I expect from my neighborhood Randalls. Champions forest is a fantastic neighborhood with top notch stores and good customer service oriented retailers. Randalls, please get rid of bad elements that give you a bad name and make high quality customer service a priority again. Thank you.

Would rate negative stars if possible. Seriously price gouging on water cases. Wasnt paying attention when checking out and realized that 4, 18ct cases of ozarka rang up to be over 71 dollars! They were charging over 17 dollars per case! Luckily I was able to return for full refund. Way to take advantage of a city thats under threat from natural disaster. My family and friends will never step foot in another Randalls ever again since they obviously care more about making a profit than their surrounding community.

The one on 1960/ champion forest has decided u can only use 3 coupons total per customer. Who goes to the store with 3 coupons? Took back my coupons and left them with $63.00 of groceries to put away. Never shopping there again.had to press at least one star to post but really no stars.

Great store! Not happy about them doing away with the self checkout. Reason was supposedly that "people were stealing stuff"! Not sure how since there was almost always somebody watching you! Especially if James was on duty! LOL Overall the employees are friendly and helpful.

Terrible time for checking out since they took away self check out, average of 5 to 10 min for less then 15 items . Before they took out self Check out was only 2-4 min . Taking by business and vary valuable time to a grocery store tgat I can quickly get in and out of. ....
