It was my father-in-laws birthday and I wanted to give him a gift basket with locally brewed beers. I tried contacting Nebraska Brewing Company and Lucky Bucket, but was unsuccessful in finding what I wanted. A friend told me that Hy Vee Shadow Lake has a good selection of local beers. I went to Wine and Spirits and did find a good selection. I talked with Lorri Dilley and explained what I wanted to do. She helped me pick out a good selection of beer. I then asked her about the possibility of putting the different beers into a gift basket of some sort. She talked with Debbie in the floral department and Debbie walked over with a basket. Debbie suggested adding some beef jerky, pretzels, and peanuts, which I thought was a great idea. Then while I went shopping for my other groceries, Debbie went to work. When I returned to Wine and Spirits about half an hour later, there was a beautifully arranged basket filled with all of my items and covered in clear plastic with a bow at the top. It looked awesome! And the entire thing cost around $50 -- very reasonable for a fun and unique gift. We gave it to my father-in-law last night and he loved it. Thanks to both Lorri and Debbie for going the extra mile. What a great example of customer service!

This review is just for the Sunday brunch Buffett. We just purchased the Sunday Buffett that includes the salad bar, Chinese, Italian...etc, and the food was less than appealing. What food was left was really dries out. After barely finishing my first plate I decided to go for some Chinese. Went up to the counter and the guy asked me for a receipt. I told him the cashier who originally checked me out did not give me one. So he told me he couldnt serve me without it. Understandable. I went back to our first cashier and I told him I needed a reciept because I could not get food from other areas without it. He proceeded to tell me "he knows me, just tell him its cool". I said no....he said he needs to reciept. He then said "oh well I cant get a reciept I would have to go upstairs". Thats when I just said forget it and walked away. I already wasted my good money, I wasnt about to waste anymore of my time. Wont be back for this brunch.

The service is excellent and the staff friendly. Having said that, the prices are getting substantially higher than the competition, probably just to compensate for the fuel savers, which are usually never on what I buy, so not worth it to me. Secondly, everytime I go for sale items, they are sold out of some if not several of these items. Rainchecks do not get me the product for todays meal. There needs to be a substitution policy since you cant keep enough product in stock and dont enforce your quantity limits. Contemplating on switching back to Bakers if these issues cant be addressed.

Hy-Vee has great produce & the people who work there are always very friendly! The reason I dont rate them higher is that they have stopped carrying many of my favorite brands & special items. They used to be unique, but now seem to be like every other grocery store. Im sorry to say that I have to shop at other stores to find what Im looking for, when I used to have a one stop shopping at Hy-Vee!

The meat department here is garbage. Their butchers leave at 4 so if you need a piece of meat cut after then youre out of luck. Even if the butchers are there they frequently get the orders wrong. I asked for a 2lb piece of top sirloin cut for a roast. When I got it home I found that the guy had taken two one pound cuts of meat wrapped together. Useless for the roast I planned on making.

We had this HyVee make our wedding cakes and they did a great job! They looked and tasted EXACTLY how I wanted them. The bakery staff bent over backwards to get everything just right and make sure we were happy. Their prices fit our tight budget. We would pick them all over again if we had to.

I had a great experience at this hyvee!!! I was having troubles trying to get a package sent out and finding the best way to get it there and a young lady latisha helped me with everything and I am sooo greatful for that and it got there with no problems. I will continue to ALWAYS shop there!

They have excellent sales but put limits of one usually so no "stocking up". Really like their in house brats, good variety of flavors. Produce is usually outstanding but pricey unless on sale. Regular prices are high compared to other grocery stores in the area.

This HyVee has different policies for different people. Ryan is one of the manager, who has NO knowledge and processes as per as his mood. Pretty unprofessional and bad customer service and a big zero to him and to this HyVee who hires such unprofessional manager.

This is a high quality grocery store.This store is consistently clean and arranged to easily find what you need. They are adequately staffed, always available to assist when needed, and very friendly. This is always my go to place for all my grocery needs.

Friendliest people even the teenagers that work there. Clean and cheerful environment. One day the music overhead was "Walk Like A Man" and I promise you, everyone in had a little bounce, a little tap or a little March in their step going on. Lovely Day!

I like the fresh meat department. However not happy with the sale items either out or poor choices. Like Pepsi products. I go for certain flavors and when on sale they dont have what I want. Out of many products that are n sale. Hope this improves.

I have known Robin Kalina, the caterer at the Papillion store. She has made cookies and sandwiches for me for various occasions. I know they can do groups up to 1000 people. The food is very good. I highly recommend Robin at Hy-Vee Papillion.

A great grocery store with expansive selection of products including the hard to find items. CHI clinic, pharmacy, and SAC Federal Credit Union on site. Store features dining area as well. Staff is mostly knowledgeable and courteous.

Ordered a sheet cake for a special occasion, white cake with white icing. The best description of the cake is okay, nothing great and nothing terrible. Even though the price was wonderful, I will not order again from this bakery.

Online ordering is a joke. Selected pick up between 7 and 8. It is 750 and they still havent finished filling my order. Good thing I wasnt here at 7. I could have grabbed everything by myself in the time I have been waiting.
