The Google ad and the shop store says its open till 12 am. 12 pm - 12 am. I went to this establishment a little past 12 o clock pm so right after they opened to find a guy coming out of the back room down the hallway coughing hard and when I asked him if I could get some work done on my arm he denied me and said I have an appointment at 1 so I can not do it and while speaking to me he smelled of weed and was very nonchalant like he was under the influence of something. He then told me to write down my name and number on a sticky note and when the other artist come in and have a spot available they will let me know. I explained to him how the business hours say closed at 12 but yet past two days I tried to get there around 10 pm and 11 pm to schedule an appointment they were already closed. He replied oh we just close when we feel like closing depending on how the night goes and if we want to go home early or not. I thought after that experience this place is very shady, but after I checked the ratings again I decided to not let my gut instinct get the best of me. I waited all day for the call then finally called them around 7:30 and I called and told another man that answered my call, what happened and they said they would never do something like that they always have to go through a appointment and then a deposit fee and that sounds like something they would never do, I told them the guys name and they just said oh well we will talk to him. I was willing to give them my hard earned money for a tattoo and they gave me the run around. They said they couldnt schedule an appointment till 2 weeks later and they couldnt help me and what I explained to them was supposedly something they would never do even though they had to give a slap on the wrist for the guy who I talked to when they first opened. Then I asked them again okay Ill go over there and put a deposit down what time do you close? The man told me 12 am I told them my experience trying to get there the other days early and how they were already closed and he said on Thursdays we usually stay later than usual. I go there a little past 10 and they were closed again. I am very upset that I am willing them to take my money to get a tattoo and trying to work with them yet they basically gave me the run around. This establishment definitely disappointed me. & I am not too sure about the artist either, like I said the guy who opened smelled like weed, was coughing hard, & was very nonchalant and talked slow and a little slurry. I would not recommend coming here to anyone looking to get treated right or even some one expecting fair treatment as a paying customer.

Out 400 bucks at least! I have been a client of Brandon for 4 years now. I was overseas and would come in and let him work for hours on me. My tattoos from him have cost me over 6000 dollars. My sleeve, side, and back are done by him. I always loved the work. I came home for good this year in June. I paid a deposit and then he asked me to prepay a tattoo in August. No problem. Ive never had an issue with his professionalism. Finally in December I get one red rose colored in that was already outlined on my arm. This is after he refused to return emails etc. 2.5 hours later only one rose done. Tried to email to make appointments, nothing. This shop knows me well. Some of them still feel like family. So Im concerned that if I can be treated this way, anyone can. His story will change and its extremely comical but some of his artists are in shock at his actions. Judith, Clay, George, Jullian, ARE EXCELLENT AND RELIABLE. It seems that both owners however hand so many petsonal issues that tattoos are no longer their priority or customer service. Im out 400 dollars that was paid upfront as asked and no response.

EF this place. White obese manager lady, specifically. I had a very small tattoo done on my foot. Less than a month later i went for a minor retouch request (less than a centimeter ), some of the ink had peeled off. The tattoo artist specified to me that for any retouches, to just come back. I returned thinking they would honor their policy and their word. Obese Manager lady took one second looking at my foot and said "no". She said the tattoo artist who did my work no longer was employed there, so too bad for me. Why not invest the 5 minutes in the customer? Why not finish the tattoo as promised? Why not honor the store policy? She was unprofessional, rude and cold. No other tattoo establishment has ever treated me the way she did. Never will i recommended this place to anyone who plans on getting "touch-ups", or any other work for that matter. They lie to get you in that seat, they will compromise their finished product to save a few petty dollars, and they clearly have poor judgment in management.

An absolutely AMAZING shop with wonderful artists, very clean and very personable! My artist is Jason, I have gotten 3 tattoos with him and this last one far exceeded my expectations! His attention to detail is outstanding, EVERYONE that has seen my tattoo comments on how beautiful it is! Words cannot describe how VERY pleased I am with Jason and his amazing work! I have spent several hours at Houston Ink Society and can honestly say that every artist at this shop is excellent. Walking in the door you do not feel like you are in a tattoo parlor, each artist has their own individual room, so when you are having something done you are not just out in the front for everyone to see, which is a BIG plus! This is DEFINATELY a custom tattoo shop, bring them a photo or an idea and they will bring it to life and put their own spin on it. I recommend EVERYONE to check out Houston Ink Society, they are honestly amazing!

My two friends and I went in on Wednesday to get a tattoo designed. We intended to get it done on Saturday. We paid a 20 dollar deposit each to get the design texted to us. Clearly getting a tattoo is a big decision and we wanted to make sure we loved the design before getting it. Friday, when we still hadnt heard from them, we called. It was 3-4 calls of "hey can you send us the design" ... "Yes" and then silence. We made an appointment during one of those calls for Saturday at 3. We called today at 2:45 to let them know we would be running late. They said "okay". We get there at 3:10 and the girl at the front tells us that the guy booked to tattoo us wont be in until 4pm. What the...? She said she would call him and at that point we told her not to bother and we walked next door to find MUCH better service. I couldnt believe what terrible customer service Houston Inc Society had!
