Looked for a late night meal on a weekend and finally had a chance to check this place out after having it marked down for months. Had a great time sitting in the quiet patio outside, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. We ordered different items, but a few definitely stood out: The Pljeskavice is kind of like a stuffed burger, and was hearty and flavorful, with a good combination of interesting tastes I havent quite had before. The Cheescake Baklava is a phenomenal idea. After having tried it I cant believe how I hadnt seen this before, since they both complement each other so well. The rich soft creaminess of the cheescake pairs naturally with the crunchy bold sweetness and subtle nutty flavor of the baklava. The Hadzijski Cevap blew me away. Amazingly delicious, Ive been trying to deconstruct this in my mind in an attempt to recreate it. Seemingly similar to kebabs in a very full bodied sauce. The cevap by themselves are very enjoyable with a nice consistency, moistness and spices, but the sauce adds a whole new dimension of taste and brings out many other flavors. I cannot recommend this enough. Looking forward to my next visit.

This place doesnt deserve any stars food doesnt taste good or look good ! I ordered a plate of cevaps and they didnt even have the right bread to go with it for a $9 plate it was not worth it and for a $12 cevaps platter either . Waiters was very slow it took her 30 mins just to bring the drinks to the table. Seems like she doesnt know what shes saying about bosnian food. And this place makes bosnian food look horrible. I wouldnt recommend ANYONE going here. I could of ate somewhere way nicer and cleaner for the money I spent here. My husband says It was a slap on the face !!

Only employee in restaurant was one very non-Bosnian immigrant. As in, one dude with no English was manning kitchen and tables at lunchtime. Service was consequently slow and confusing. Appetizers were cold where they should have been warm and main dish was overcooked. "Guy Fieri ate here!" seemed to be more of a theme than "try this delicious thing!" An item billed as "Guys favorite dish!" or some such was a rather bland and quite visually unappealing Bosnian stuffed hamburger steak, served charred. Restaurant was dark without being romantic, with no music or ambiance.

Horrible service, the waitress kept disappearing, 20 minutes at a time, there was only 3 tables with customer and 2 waitresses, there is no excuse. We had to get up several times to look for her (sometimes she was just in the back, looking at her cell phone, talking to the other waitress). She never came to try to clean the table or ask if we needed anything., We ate the desert next to a pile of dirty dishes. She also charged our credit card wrong . Never coming back. Food was ok, needs more flavor for may taste.

A year ago this place was amazing. Food and service were both on par. The last three times Ive been in were all bad. I never post a bad review based on one experience. Last time they had just opened for the evening (they had closed for part of the afternoon) and were immediately out of two items our group had gone in for in the first place. Its not worth the drive for me to be disappointed yet again so Ill try elsewhere. Very sad.. I bragged on this place a lot previously.

Awful. A while back, I went with my wife for a casual dinner, just the two of us and the service was terrible and the tzatziki sauce was all watery. Though we arrived first, there were three other couples who arrived AFTER us and they all ordered, ate and paid before our food was even brought out. The manager never came out and the server only offered a casual "sorry" when she brought the food out.

I had their lamb chops and they were great! I got extra veggies instead of rice and they were very accommodating. The bread they serve is very dense and unique but a great addition to the meal and delicious dipped in the yogurt sauce or one of the yummy dips. The service was fine, though it was pretty empty when we visited. The restaurant itself is very quaint - you feel as if you are in someons home

We really enjoyed our meal here. The people were extremely nice and the service prompt. I ate the Hadzijski Cevap and my husband ate the Pljeskavice - both were delicious. The decor is quaint and a bit bare bones, but didnt detract from us having a great meal. We will definitely be going back.

Creepy weird place. I entered I was greeted by weird waiters. The tables had stains on them and the restaurant smelled weird, and over that they were playing creepy weird music that weirdos would listen to.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Go to the one off of Westheimer, it is the original and is 100% better. This location (richmond) has horrible food, service, and look and feel. It gives cafe pita a bad name.
