Ive worked a block away from this place for the past three years. Whenever Im in early enough or if Im leaving late in the morning and am in a breakfast mood, this place has been my go to. Id get little donut holes thrown in with my kolaches sometimes and it was always a cute little touch that made me feel a little love in the morning. This morning in particular has been challenging for me as Ive been at work for almost 24 hours now due to a staffing shortage. I was waiting for 5 am to hit though cos I knew this place would be open. Sure enough, around 510 I rolled over to get over this crummy day and alas, the door was locked. I thought it was just another item in the list of things but thankfully, I saw the lady run out towards the door to beckon me back in. I got some kolaches and juice and then I went to pay...And realized I didnt have my wallet. Embarrassed, I told her I worked a street away and Id be right back to pay for it and she told me to go ahead and take them and pay for it later. Guys, Ive almost cried eating these warm pockets of kindness. These are amazing people with amazing kolaches. Give them all your money.

One of the better kept secrets in the Montrose area. Believe it when you experience how far a few dollars can go stretching breakfast into lunch! The people there are pretty great. Like there awesome attitudes flows through into the kolaches, croissant sandwiches and donuts. The service is pretty quick as the lines move with a great sense of urgency. The feature is especially favorable since many of the people on the way to work have that "I woke up late and need to be at work in 10 minutes" rush. Their lunch is funny. Funny because they throw in their Asian cuisine in the mix. Fried rice or a bacon cheeseburger on a croissant bun? Weird but it works!!! If you are in the Montrose or Midtown area do give this a try. Its worth it.

Donut holes melt in your mouth. Their Blueberry Donut is better than anything Seattle has ever produced. Anything that they put on a croissant is awesome. Super friendly staff. If you are on the fence about going...get off the fence and go. Why the hell are you on a fence anyway. Cheers. -AX-

Five stars for the best apple fritters in Houston. A good amount of apple, not doughy, crispy edges, fried til on the dark side for more flavor, and glazed like a gilded lily. Plus extra stars for the owners being so friendly.

Go for the croissant sandwiches, its so good. Oh, their donuts are pretty good too (although Shipleys will always be #1). Im not much of a cake donut guy but I have to get the blueberry cake donut every time I come here.
