On June 10, 2015, I bought a 2004 Suburban from Grapevine Motors. I told Tim that I needed a good vehicle since it was for my daughter and my three small grand babies. He told me that if anything happened in the next few months to let him know and he would take of it. Well, a week and a day later (on the day the check cleared) the check engine light came on and the engine reduced to half power and the air stopped working. I called Tim and he said oh well you have had it almost two weeks and it could be anything. With all the rain we have had, may be you got bad gas. Well, I was shocked! Not the response I expected. I took it to Auto Zone and had the light turned off and hoped for the best. The next week the check engine light came on repeatedly. I took it to a mechanic who replaced a part for $520.00. Hoping that would be it, I drove it a couple of weeks until the check engine light came on again. So it went back to the shop. In September, I was driving it, and as I turned the corner the vehicle died in mid turn! I started it again, and it died again as I was turning into my driveway! Back to the shop it went. The mechanic replace another part for $210.00. My daughter and I are terrified to drive this vehicle! We are both panic stricken wondering if it is going to stop running on the freeway. Now we have a vehicle that we are afraid to drive, and Tim has our money. I told Tim how important it was that I get a good vehicle for my daughter and grand babies. Now I am stuck with a piece of junk and a promise from a dealer who played Christian music and didnt back his word. Since I am being blackmailed to fix a problem I know nothing about, I will give you 1 chance to bring it to me, bring the receipts for what parts your mechanic has thrown at it and I will fix it right... I am not wrong here and you know I said bring it in but you couldnt, and now 4 months later I get this threatening complaint. Do not question my Christianity as I have not questioned yours for your tactics and Im willing to do the right thing if you have the ability to admit that I am not in the wrong and bring your car in.... With that said, I have no mechanic but myself, I am aware another mechanic charged you and tried to fix it so I will be very precise about the repair and I will not just throw parts at it so it could take a week or two to sort it out. The balls in your court... " You said in your reply above that I never asked you to fix the problem. If that is true, how could I have ever said I didnt trust you to fix the problem, nor did you at any time offer to swap it out with another vehicle. That must have been another unhappy customer! All I hear is you blaming the bad gas and my mechanic that messed up the truck. My mechanic did not throw parts at the truck. With someone responding to me in such a demeaning way and threatening tone, I would hesitate to have any other contact with this dealership. I unfortunately did not read all of the reviews on this company before purchasing this vehicle! I wish I had! Buyer beware!

Outstanding experience with this dealer. These folks are honest and trustworthy, and will do everything they can to help you out. Honestly, I was not impressed when I first arrived on the lot - but dont let first impressions fool you. This is not a glossy, fancy, new-car-dealership kind of place. Nobodys wearing suits and theyre not out to sweet-talk and pressure you like those dealerships. Theyre down-to-earth, good people. I found the car I wanted online, and when I got to the lot, the car was exactly as described, in awesome shape considering the age and mileage, and available at the price quoted. If you need financing, theyll work hard to get you the best possible deal. No behind-the-scenes-let-me-talk-to-my-manager garbage that Ive dealt with at some dealers, either. They will also give you a full vehicle report (like a Carfax report) before you buy so you can see if there have been any previous issues. I took the car for a full inspection the day I bought it, and my mechanic was impressed with the condition. I did have a problem with the car just two days after that (a broken cable - relatively common at that mileage and not something you could see or predict ahead of time, the full inspection didnt even catch it), but Tim took care of it and I am absolutely loving my "new-to-me" vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership.

This STEALership sold me a *very* unsafe vehicle in need of brake pads, brake rotors, a brake vacuum pump (its imminent failure would have prevented pushing the brake pedal down). The brake lines were also failing, leaking brake fluid. This vehicle also overheated within 30 miles of driving it off the lot. It also needed transmission service, an oil change, and had a cracked rim. The catalytic converter is missing, but it somehow passed emissions testing and got state inspection. All things that were never disclosed to me. Moreover, when I took the vehicle back to have the overheating issue resolved, they kept it for 2 days but never actually fixed anything, gave it back to me and told me it was "good to go." It was not even close to it. Needing the above things resolved, it was a death trap waiting to happen. The people running this STEALership refused to reimburse me for any of these repairs, hiding behind the "As Is" warranty. This place is NOT recommended for car buying. Go to a bigger dealership or buy from an individual. STAY AWAY from this place!

I cant say enough good things about our experience here! We were having dinner at the restaurant next door; as we do occasionally and noticed a jeep on the lot we wanted to know more about. My husband emailed for more information and got an immediate reply. We also looked at the reviews online and decided to go check it out. There we met Tim! Again, cant say enough good things! When we took it out for a test drive we noticed the A/C wasnt really cold. We told Tim and he took immediate action. Not only does he buy and sell but hes also a mechanic! He fixed the air and told us he would stand behind his repair in the event it had any future issues. We decided to make the purchase! Since our purchase we have both sold him a vehicle and he provided mechanical assistance on another car we have, FREE OF CHARGE! I mean, who does that? TIM DOES! I am so happy to we made the decision to do business here. We have established a long term business relationship with a great guy! Thanks Tim for everything!

I cant say enough good things about Grapevine Motors. Tim runs an amazing shop and has gained my respect. I went to trade in a Lincoln Town Car that needed some work and walk away with a used Honda Civic that didnt need work. Tim admitted that such a deal would make him a great profit, but that it would be better for me to let his shop make the repairs on my Town Car instead. The repairs were done fast and have proven to be of professional quality. My Town Car runs great now! Such honesty and generosity should be rewarded. When the time comes for me to buy a second vehicle or trade in the Town Car -- Grapevine Motors will be my first and last stop. Tim took the time to talk to me at length about his cars, the buying process, how he chooses his trade-ins, and how to avoid lemons or scams. Ive never been treated with this level of respect. Thanks Tim.
