I wouldnt buy any frozen food from this location what so ever! I use to work at Walmart (not this location) and I know that when you are stocking frozen or cold merchandise etc. you are supposed to only down stack partial of a pallet at a time if you are the only one stocking. You are not supposed to unload every pallet that is supposed to be stocked that night. Anyways my point is there was probably 2 pallets on the floor, down stacked, there were boxes stacked in front of the doors sitting there. AND HERES THE HORRIBLE PART OF IT ALL EVERY BOX WAS NOW--- >HOT!! <--- YES HOTT, WHICH MEANS THAT THEY HAD ALL OF THOSE BOXES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FROZEN ON THE FLOOR FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR! BECAUSE I FIRST TOUCHED LIKE 5 OF THE BOXES ON EACH ISLE WHEN I FIRST GOT THERE AND THEY WERE HOTT, AND WHEN I WENT TO GET IN LINE I WALKED BACK OVER REAL QUICK (45MIN-1HOUR MY TOTAL TIME SHOPPING)THEY WERE ALL STILL THERE ON THE FLOOR AND HOTT!! SERIOUSLY WALMART SERIOUSLY??? AS A PREVIOUS WALMART FROZEN DAIRY STOCKER.. THUS IS HORRIBLE AND EVERYONE OF YOUR FROZEN STOCKERS SHOULD BE FIRED AND HAVE TO PAY FOR THE MERCHANDISE LOSS!!! (I honestly wondered if anyone who buys from the frozen department at this location has gotten sick??)) No Hard Feelings Towards Walmart I Mean Its Not Their Fault That This Location Cant Seem To Hire People Who Actually Work... Well Want To Work, If They Actually Had Managers, Leaders Who Worked Enforced The Rules/Policy... Instead Of Getting Paid For Not Being There, Getting Paid To Goof Off, Hit On Customers/Or Other Employees... ANYWAYS GOOD LUCK WALMART HOPEFULLY THE DISTRICT MANAGER OR SOMEONE ABOVE HIM WILL FINALLY TAKE SOME MUCH NEEDED ACTION AND MAKE A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!! ♡♡♡GOD BLESS♡♡♡ IM HOPEFUL MY EXPERIENCE AND REVIEW WILL HELP OPEN THE EYES OF SOMEONE WHO WORKS FOR WALMART. I hate this walmart so much! The employees are lazy and literally lay on registers to check you out. They are so unprofessional & rude. Storytime: In visually impaired and I went there and got the usual after checking out I realized I forgot some things so I ask the cashier can you please watch my basket for a sec? She says yes so I run get what I forgot & jumped back in her line. She checks me out then Im like wheres my basket? She pushed it way across the the walk way out of her line of sight. So I get my basket & as Im putting money in my purse. A dollar falls to floor and she yells "uh mam you drop a dollar" (remember Im visually impaired) so Im looking down like where? She come over an picks it says a smart comment and proceeds to walk about her register and loudly tells her friend "OHH SHE BLIND & HER EYE MESSED UP" I was beyond pissed and honestly that hurt. So I never went back until recently! Its still a mess! I only go if I have my card so I dont have to interact with the employees.

I chose this Walmart Grocery store because of its location in S. Garland near my home, its reliably friendly staff, well stocked shelves of groceries and produce, and of course theres the pharmacy. Walmart revolutionized the $4 generics, making your typical medications available, affordable and reliably high quality even for people who have no insurance coverage. It wasnt that many years ago when all drugs were marked up at unaffordable prices. Even generics, which cost a fraction of the price of brand name drugs to manufacture, were outrageously expensive. Ive never understood the bad mouthing that Walmart got for years while they created a model of quality, affordability and innovation that has set trends for the market place. All things considered, these smaller Walmarts are much easier to shop than the super center versions.

Marcus Booker is the worst store manager. I personally dont like the self check out. But with 2 cashier operated registers open he still forced me to use a self check out then when I asked why he proceeds to tell me if I dont like it he can have me removed from the store! Are you serious? Why because I feel like if Im paying these high prices I can at least have someone check my groceries out... Rudest person I have ever met at this Wal-Mart. If I could rate negative 5 stars I would.

Even though I live behind it I usually go shopping elsewhere unless I need a couple of items, reason being they are slow. Not to mention not enough cashiers and self check out are always down. Its been like this for about 2yrs. Only thing I like is that its walking distance, about a couple feet. There are only 2 friendly cashiers, next time I go I will let manager know whow they are.

Its always a good experience it is some improvement going on right now but store is clean, fresh fruit, products I like my experience almost every time the only thing I think need improvement is parent control there children from running in the store but some ppl are looking for a come up so if the kids runs fall parents want to sue the store overall good place to shop.

i am super pissed off!! their poor fish a living in nastey water! and being sucked in the filteration, the filteration is covered of dead fish that the ones the remain cant even breath! we tried getting some of the staff to come look at the tanks but no one came!! its so sad and disappointing seeing all thr dead and suffering little creaters!!

Awesome customer service. Really like the staff here. If you are a regular or they have a chance to see you a few times they will talk and help you out on a more personal level which you dont get much these days. They are awesome with my son and I really appreciate the employees there.

This is one of the few neighborhood markets that I will visit anymore. The cashiers here are super nice. And the guy that cleans the parking lot of the carts is always very nice and even help me put groceries in the car.

I enjoy going to my neighborhood Wal-Mart. It easy in and out. They keep the shelves stocked. Most of the peoples that works there is very friendly. Theres still room for improvement.

Clean, usually fast in and out. Dont like that they lock the left side doors @ 8pm -who does that?!? And they run low on popular items weekends lately.

Good. I dont like that one side of the doors are closed when it rains. It makes us have to walk IN THE RAIN further to the available entrance.
