Read to the end. The comedy builds. This is absolutely the most rotten company I have ever had the displeasure (or absolute ball laughing at) of dealing business with, EVER. We went online. We ordered flowers. Total was 50 and change. Got an email an hour later... receipt... total had gone up to 78.36... they tacked on rush delivery fees etc. we called. Got a call service (guy had an accent and said his name was jay) he cut us off to tell us they have very serious customer satisfaction and that the client will receive the product, at which time they can call and request a refund. We said that is not what we want. We want an immediate refund. He says please hold, I will grab a manager. Moments later he says they are processing our refund and we will receive our money back in 5-7 days... the transaction has already been processed and the flowers are on their way... this is at 6 pm. We say NO, we want an immediate transaction cancellation or we will go through our bank... please hold again... ok you will receive a refund in 24 hours that is the best we can do. I ask what is your name. He says Chuck. Im like spell it. And your last name. And your managers name. He hangs up on me. I call back and can tell by the voice its the same guy, he says hes jay. I call him out on the BS, and he plays dumb, like "this is not chuck" but as I continue to call him out he magically remembers details of the exchange. I start asking for a manager he says there is none available. I say this is an answering service who owns pro flowers/manages etc. Hes like I dunno. I say I thought you were a manager but you said there are no managers he says I am I say who is above him he says he doesnt know its his first day. I make him spell his name, it takes 5 minutes and I come up with Jay Javina. I ask what the name of the answering service company is he says something unintelligible. Ten minutes later the best I got was Alorica Philippines Inc. not sure if that is true. Im about done and he asks me for my name. I state it, clearly, spell it, twice, using military phonetics (first name Sierra India Lima Alpha Sierra last name Romeo Alpha Tango Hotel Bravo Uniform November) he still hasnt got it he keeps interrupting me with incorrect letters. I call him out for screwing with me and go one letter at a time, IE "first letter S as in Sierra or Sam or Stupid, second letter of my first name is I as in India as in the country where most idiot answering services are located or Idiot or Infomercial," and this went on through my entire first and last name and finally we said our goodbyes. Oh. My. Goodness. His smugness. His lies. His redirections. His deflections... So we go online to look at reviews. 1.1 stars. People receive wilted flowers and melted chocolates. Upcharges. Failure to refund after promising such. We called our bank to start the dispute process should the pending charge actualize.

It wasnt the worst experience ever, but I am very mad! (and I wish I had read all the other terrible reviews before ordering from them) This was my first time using Proflowers, and I wanted to get a gift for my mother for Mothers Day. I was frustrated to begin with, because not all of the gift options were available to send on (or even near) Mothers Day- including the exact one I wanted. The closest day I could send it was 6 days before Mothers Day! So I chose it anyway and sent it early. Then I receive my email receipt to find that the shipping was like $15 extra! If I had known that, I wouldnt have used them in the first place! Whatever, I had them send it anyway. It arrived just fine. Then my mother sends me a picture of it and lo and behold, its not even the exact flowers I ordered! I ordered a big bouquet of white lilies and pink tulips. There was a measly bunch of tulips in the gift. Here are the pictures to prove it. The first picture is what the website shows the flowers were supposed to look like, and the 2nd picture is what my mom sent me that actually arrived. Pitiful. So, I immediately called customer service, in hopes that they would not only refund me for the flowers, but also send my mom what she deserved.... but no, I could only choose one or the other. That pissed me off. I didnt even care if I didnt get a full refund, just a refund for the flowers and send my mom what I really ordered, but no, I couldnt do that. So, heres my one star. Never ordering from them again. I will edit this if I dont receive a refund in 5-7 days! Also, just like many of the other reviews, there was a person with an accent who answered as "James".

Ive only ordered from ProFlowers once or twice and it was many years ago. I dont even know or remember what the quality was. What I do remember is that probably 6 of 7 times since then, Ive gone through the process for special occasions - good and bad: birthdays, funerals, retirements, etc. Each time I get all the way to the end, have entered my credit card information, the delivery address, written out the card and then Im sent to the final confirmation screen. Way down at the bottom of the screen if you scroll down is the price. Only now, the price has more than doubled. My most recent disappointing experience had line items for the flowers (somehow 6 dollars more than what I selected), a vase charge ($7, which was the cheapest one), a delivery charge ($15), a "Monday delivery" charge ($10, because we all know how much more difficult it is to deliver flowers on a Monday), handling charge ($3), and $6 in taxes. Somehow, my $23 flowers were now more than $70...again. I didnt buy it but now I have 5 months of Proflowers emails to look forward to. The irony is I wouldnt even mind spending $70 on flowers if you tell me that they are $70. I object to being treated like a rube. STAY AWAY!

FALSE CLAIMS, POOR WEBSITE EXPERIENCE & CUSTOMER SERVICE Will say have ordered about 12 times over past 5 yrs and flowers always reported to me as arriving fresh, lasting long. Once the container wasnt as promised, though. And added charges are too HIGH. Today, had POOR EXPERIENCE. Ordered ok first time. Confirmation email offered next purchase w/$15 credit. Clicked offer button, just took me to website. Ordered next bouquet. At checkout, NO CREDIT. What was a $34+ bouquet and $6+ vase ended up at $60.00! Called Customer Service. Got thick accented person, then DEAD SILENCE, then back again, then put on hold, DEAD SILENCE. Wasted 5 min. Tried another cust serv.#, again thick accent, but helpful. Took me 32 minutes, WORKING with her. She said would be charged $45 (the $15 deducted). Checked bank acct, and WAS CREDITED as she said. But conf email doesnt reflect that. Says $60 ($59+) However, too much time, energy, $ spent by customer for LOW QUALITY EXPERIENCE. Seems to have gone downhill. After seeing majority 1 star reviews here and elsewhere,, conclude that PROFLOWERS NEEDS TO IMPROVE A LOT!

I am receiving horrible customer service by your company. I have called 3 times, the first time I waited 10 minutes for someone to get on the phone then hangup on me, the second time I told the representative that I was not happy with the flowers that I received in my order and were nothing like what was advertised and some of the bulbs on the flowers were broken off. She told me that she would refund the money to me but she could not send me a confirmation email about the refund but she in fact sent me an email about another charge to my account, then refused to give me a confirmation number of the return over the phone. Called back a third time and the other representative said she could not find or see the order and if I wanted to order it again. I just dont understand how you can have such horrible quality of merchandise then also have horrible customer service. I am so disappointed with pro-flowers and will never be doing my shopping for a special occasion again with you guys again. Please spend your hard earned money at another flower service, this company sucks.
