Many of my Stonebriar Neighbors and I have shopped this store since its inception. However, the current consensus is that our shopping experience is deteriorating for a number of reasons. The store is no longer clean. Shelves and canned items are often dusty. Produce is overpriced and often old. New produce may be added without being checked and without older produce being removed. The refrigerated coolers need a thorough cleansing. The store often contains putrid odors emanating from the meat and/or fish departments. Management appears to be apathetic regarding the quality and condition of this store. The original manager excelled in store management and maintenance. He was often present in the aisles helping his staff in cleaning the shelves. He was cordial and welcoming to shoppers. Several months ago, I was struck by a six-pack of water falling off a shelf and hitting me in the head because it had been improperly stacked on the tallest shelf. The accident gave me a tremendous headache. Although I spoke with the manager and said that the stacking was a hazard and that the water no longer be stacked in this way on the top shelf, my request and suggestion have been ignored. Although this Kroger store is the most convenient to me, I shall now be shopping elsewhere so that I need not be concerned about cleanliness or safety issues. That also means the loss of prescription business. Hopefully, this time the management will get its act together and make every effort to return the store to its former high standards. This is my first complaint since the store opened originally which ought be some indication that there is work to be accomplished.

I was here on Tuesday and witnessed a very rude manager mistreating a customer. I was behind a gentlemen in line who was purchasing 2 bottles of wine. Their computer malfunctioned and so the cashier told him to re-scan his card. I guess the gentleman had some app that sent alerts to his phone anytime he made a purchase over $1, so he received an alert that he made a purchase at Kroger. He showed the cashier this and said that he was already charged. The cashier then got a manager (a balding Indian gentleman, probably about 40-50) and asked how he should clear the transaction from the screen since on their end it shows as not having gone through. The manager then said "Sorry, but we go by what the screen says, not by what your bank states, so youll have to purchase again and if you are charged twice then you can come back in later for a refund" The guy stated that he was visiting a friend and did not live in Frisco so he couldnt come back, and that also he was obviously charged as the funds had already been drafted from his account. The manager just got condescending and rude and told him that was the only option, otherwise he could see guest services. He didnt even apologize for the inconvenience, and acted the whole time as if the customer had a problem because he didnt want to double pay for his order.

I hail from small towns where one usually has no choice for grocery shopping....moved to Frisco and thought "YAY! Great grocery stores!" Much to my dismay, MY neighborhood store is the Kroger on Lebanon and Legacy. It is the worst metropolitan grocery store I have seen. Produce is poor selection, poor condition, I find spills on the aisle floors and go tell employees about them, get products off shelf that r leaking, found rice with weevils in it, and u HAVE to check expiration dates because they often have merchandise on the shelves past the date. Very disappointing..... I would hazard a guess that the store needs a new general manager.

This is my first time shopping here and believe me I will not be returning. Employees are rude , dont say excuse me, and look at you weirdly. The cashier that assisted me (Josiah ) had no customer service at all. Didnt say hi. When i asked if i could get a kroger card he made a face and finally when he was handing me my change I extended my hand out to receive it. He went around my hand and threw the change on top of the counter where the pin pad is and slammed the receipt on top of it. Then turned around to leave. Worst servo e ever!! I do Not recommended this location whats so ever!! If I could give no stars I would!!

I have shopped at Albersons, Target Super Market, Walmart Super Stores, Tom Thumbs...but I find I get a better value at Kroger. The food is always fresh, the store is always clean, the employees are always friendly, and I can always find everything that I need. Also, their Kroger Plus card is a great little card because once youve spent $100 in groceries, wave that little card and get $.10 off when going to fill up your car with gas at the Kroger gas stations!

This market is the closest to my house, and weve been coming here for almost 3 years. There are always so many flies in the store, during the summer months. I was at the deli counter having them slice some ham for me and there were flies all over the food! Its disgusting! I have never had this problem at any of the other markets Ive shopped. You really need to get their act together because no one wants to purchase food that flies are sitting on! YUCKKKK!!!!!

Went to buy French bread. When asking if I could get it sliced I was informed no. Reasoning was because the slicer will "smush" the bread. As a former bakery manager I found this answer unsatisfactory due to the knowledge that if the slicer is used properly then the item will not get damaged. She acted as if this was an inconvenience for her to stop doing her task and to assist me. Never had issue before. Hope this gets rectified.

I never shop at Kroger and this is why...I walked up from the parking lot to a large pile of cigarette butts littering the ground by the propane tanks. Brilliant. Then I stopped in to use the restroom which was utterly disgusting and this was at 9 am. Why would I buy groceries from a store that has a nasty restroom and clearly doesnt clean the front of the store either. GROSS!

Yuck!! Ive been coming here for over 2.5 years and steadily notice a lack of care at this store. Came in for my usual today and saw 20 flies landing all over the meat slicers and meats that were being sliced. I got my order from the deli and put it right in the trash. Clean this place up. The picture below shows only a few of the flies but there were many more.

The staff is nice and helpful. Prices are really good for the quality and quantity in the main section. But, recently they increased their prices for the “Oops, we made too much” section. Used to be 5 .50¢ for 12 tortillas, but the now sell them for $1.25-ish. Still a good deal, but a little disappointed in that. All in all, a good grocery store.

Big modern and clean layout looking Kroger yet didnt carry a basic carpet deodorizing product that I essentially thought most supermarkets would carry...go figure. How do they determine that certain neighborhoods have no need for such a sta dard item i s a mystery to me. No telling what many other products "we dont carry that here.
