I rarely write reviews of restaurant or retail experiences, but in this case, I felt compelled to do so. This was, hands down, one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a business. At the end of April, I decided to go ahead and have some family armchairs reupholstered. Childress told me the fabric would come in within 7-10 days. They picked up our chairs on May 8. At the beginning of June, I called just to see where things were in the process, and I was told that the fabric had not come in yet. I was pretty surprised - I didnt even get a phone call to let me know it was delayed. I was then told by one person it was backordered, and by another the next day that it had actually shipped. Then I was later told that it had not shipped. I couldnt get anyone to tell me when they even expected the fabric to come in. This went on for a week or two, until I just decided to not go ahead with recovering the chairs. Then I could not get a straight answer on a refund. Finally, they did decide to grant me a refund, but I had to pay for the pick up and delivery costs ($167). They finally delivered the chairs back to us today, June 30, over two months after I placed the original order...and I was told yesterday the fabric did finally ship...?!?! After two months?! It was just a miserable experience. Dont ever do business here.

NEVER SHOP HERE! This is a poorly run and managed store. We have numerous mix ups with fabric arrivals time, colors, quality, amounts differing from what we ordered, and terrible overall customer service. We ordered fabric in May that never came in. Awful, slow, unorganized, and unprofessional. And Midway location is not any better!

Unloaded 8 dining chairs and brought in for reupholstery (after having previously gotten an estimate from them) only to have them tell me that they would not do the work since I had my own fabric- this "policy" was never mentioned at any point. What horrible customer service. Will never shop there again
