DO NOT SEE BUBBLES!!(READ INTERESTING STORY) So I was in the area, it was a year ago this past March. So I too was stuck with terrible artwork from BUBBLES!!!. Do not waste your time with this artist. Because she will waste yours and your money. I just read a review from a year ago on this site that also got a bad tattoo from the same artist. sounded like to me we both got the same kind of crap. I spent about 250, plus a decent tip. So this is my experience!!! So while my cousin and I were back in the area on vacation. I decided i really wanted to get another tattoo. So didnt he. We both actually got tattoos the same day. His by another artist, lucky him. My original design was mostly a head of a dragon with Japanese cherry blossoms, with heavy dark shading in the dragon and the flowers to be color. I wanted to take it down in size and start a half sleeve with this design. BUBBLES did not even come close to what I wanted. She found a random dragon on google search made a stencil. She put it on my arm and stupid me i went through with it. ( might be my fault a little for not just walking out ) But thats no excuse for bad art work and terrible customer service skill. This was my experience with BUBBLES. Me and my cousin are told about this shop and this artist. So we find it and we go in and talk to her about our ideas. She hardly listened to use and said just come in tomorrow at 1pm give or take and ill draw something up. We were ok with that. so we leave around 1130 am. being about 45 minutes away we pull in to the shop about 1230 little traffic its the DFW area. about 5 minutes later the person who told me about this shop said BUBBLES forgot and cant come in till 3pm. OK so being about 45 minutes away from home there is no point driving back. my cousin and i decide to get some food to kill time. so 2 and half hours go by. We finally walk into the shop a little before 3pm. So we wait and we wait, this is were it gets good. she finally walks in with fast food at about 3;45pm another 45minutes after the first delay. We already should have walked!! So she comes over and says ill be right with yall. about another 15 minutes goes by while she eats right in the middle of the shop and burps multiple times and very loudly. I even told my cousin lets leave. so when she is finally ready she says she can only do one tattoo. the day before she says shell do both. Luck for my cousin!! This might have been the worst of it all about half way through she has to leave for some kind of meeting or support group. So after waiting close to 2 hours she comes back to finish her mess she put on my arm. Id like anyone to get half to 3/4 of a tattoo and let it sit for a couple hours and then start up again. I DARE YOU!!. Ever since then no one that i have shown it too could even tell what it was. id have to tell them and point out features of the dragon. It ended up being a flat dull 2 dimension grey blob. it was fading fast and actually it was unfinished. not surprising since she left half way through and came back. when she got back she blasted the music so loud to the point the woman at the front desk couldnt hear the phone ring never mind talk the the potential customers that called the store. she tried to turn it down maybe 3 times BUBBLES kept turning it back up. I didnt even like it, Oh also side note BUBBLES told me about her sex life with that exact woman that worked the front desk. ****** her brains out to be exact and also that she beat up some woman at the redneck heaven right next door. Thats cool i guess. So currently I just got it basically covered up and that cost me 400$ and i still need one more session to finish it. this i think is a great story now glad the reminder is gone though. I HOPE TO GOD YOU HAVE FIRED THIS ARTIST BY NOW, or she at least did you a favor and left. better tattooing can be taught and learned but a bad attitude and horrible care for your clients is unexceptable

I Have been to the Inkpit for Tattoos and piercings, I started going to the inkpit because my tattoo artist and YES...friend started working there, Bubbles has done my tattoos now for years. She recently did fantastic pieces on my legs that I love! Great work, fantastic colors and as always incredible shading. I have also been pierced by Meredith and she also did a fantastic job, was clean, quick and made me feel at ease.. The Ink pit is a great shop with a great owner and every artist there is very friendly, I feel welcomed not only by bubbles when i go in but everyone else there. The shop is very clean, and equipment is cleaned with a autoclave ( I have seen it myself). Now i can only speak for Meredith and bubbles, but they both clean there stations thoroughly before a job, and i see them open up all the equipment out of packaging. I have only met Nicole (who is the owner, not that diamond person) a few times, but it is easy to tell she truly cares and loves her business. If you want to get a tattoo, go up to the inkpit you will be very happy you did, the people are great. look through all the artists artwork and find someone you like and ask to watch them set up for the tattoo and piercings, so you can see them clean and open equipment, which you should do at ANY SHOP! Yes im friends with bubbles who works there, The reason we are friends is because she has done all of my tattoos for a long time now.....she is a wonderful person Im glad to call my friend and a very talented tattoo artist. As far as other reviews I have seen...I just have to say, dont judge people by their appearance, you dont know what kind of great people you will miss out on meeting!.......Learn proper aftercare......and the rest of them, well maybe you guys should just go watch another episode of LA Ink.

Kimberly you comment as if you are a nurse or have been though a blood born pathogens class. But the info that you gave is false and ignorant. Most tattoo artist use tips and tubes that must be cleaned and ran through an autoclave. You are right when you said that the chances of catching Aids is slim but the chance of catching Hep C isnt. Just because something comes out of a package doesnt mean it is sterile. Staph can be picked up anywhere and that is why a good tattoo artist will prep the area and give good after care instructions. You also stated that you have been going there since the first day? You must be one of Nicoles friends then since the shop didnt open until after 5 that day. I can tattoo circles around anyone working there now "by far." ANYONE WHO GETS AN INFECTION from here needs to report it to the Texas Health Department. The tattoo shop has 5 days to report it and Ink Pit has a past record of not reporting infections that came out of that shop. I know that for a fact and I also know that the artist and the owner said it was the clients fault.
