Like my girlfriend I was excited to see a tattoo shop open so close to where we both live. Why are most tattoo shops ran by jerks, yes I get it, its a tattoo shop, and the people who work there are so extreme(sarcasm) but that doesnt mean you have buttholes, its still a business. I first came down to get my labret pierced (I know labret is old, but it was three years ago) and the went ahead and pierced it. It was my first piercing and I was excited and didnt really examine the work before I left. Later on my girlfriend notice that my labret looked weird it was literally below my lip, and looked dumb. My girlfriend said the guy probably did a bad job on purpose, I said no and returned to the shop. The same guy was there and I had mentioned that I would want to get it fixed, at that the guy refused saying he believed he done a good job and later gave excuses why he couldnt repierce it, which was B.S. because the other tattoo shop down the street fixed my piercing for me with no problem. Ive been looking at all the other reviews on epic tattoo, it sounds like people who work at the shop just simply opened up a whole bunch email accounts and posted fake reviews. Everybody I talk to who has ever gone to epic had nothing good to say about, there rude, fat, white trash-posers.

Everything was great until the end. Piercing wasnt bad at all but towards the end of the appointment . When I had to pay the rest on my card , since there was a misunderstanding of how much I wanted to get pierced . I was told it was going to be another 20$ for the other piercing on my ear . So I agreed to pay that 20 on my card . So I was expecting to just pay a total of 100. 40$ for my ears because I had a total of 2 ear piercings . 20$ for my belly And 20$ for my nose (And I was told in the beginning that it would be 20$ EACH for a basic piercing like this ) And the lady that pierced me I even told her how I EXPECTED for it for be just 20$ more. And she said no problem So I trusted it. Cause that was Reassuring to me that she knew and only that amount should be deducted . But I come to find out that following day that an extra 20$ was charged on my card . Because I went to the bank to see my history of what I spending this week . And it said 40$ was deducted from my card yesterday . So I ended up spending a total of 120 yesterday ... That was the only thing I didnt appreciate so will not be coming back here ✌

Ive been to Epic Tattoos a few times, and they have always given me the best. Its a bit of a drive for me, as I live in Dallas and it takes about an hour to get there. But its SO worth the commute! Today I went in to get an Animaniacs tattoo, and the artist did a perfect job on Wakko! He always made sure that I was ok and that I was happy with the tattoo. He made the process so easy and, to be honest, relaxing. The people in there are so friendly, and its just a generally nice atmosphere in the building. And the prices are SO reasonable! They will work with you to get something great for a great price. Im extremely pleased with all my tattoos (especially my latest one of Wakko Warner!!), and Ill most definitely keep coming back for more ink!!!

Very friendly and professional staff! Treated me very well! Great,clean environment and I was helped as soon as I walked in the door. Unlike most tattoo shops that will ignore you if youre not a "regular". I went to Kory and he did an impeccable job on on my tattoo. I highly recommend Epic tattoo! Great prices as well! I wasnt charged by the hour like most great tattoo shops around DFW will charge. Especially in The Deep Ellum area! Who can COMFORTABLY afford to pay $175 per hour and then return for several sessions that can be done at once. Epic tattoos is the place to go for the working man/woman that wants some GREAT artwork done at an affordable price! I will ALWAYS go here and I recommend everyone else should too!

My family and I came to Epic to get a memorial tattoo using artwork created by a deceased relative. We said we wanted the tattoo done exactly as it had been drawn, but of course we were open to the possibility of having to modify some aspects of the drawing because of the nature of tattoos. Despite our openness, the artist we spoke to was rude and completely critical of the work and claimed he didnt "understand" the sketch...whatever that may mean. We left and took our business down the street to Ink Pit, where they seemed to completely "understand" the sketch and did a perfect job for us! Plus the people there were a lot more friendly, the shop was nicer, and the work was A LOT less expensive.

I had my lion king tattoo done here a few months ago and it turned out amazing! I had this tattoo planned for a long time but after having negative experiences on my tattoos with other shops in the past I was hesitant to get it done. I heard about Epic and the many good reviews so I decided to walk in and see how it was. The artists there were pleasant to work with and the guy who worked on my tattoo did an excellent job and was able to get it exactly how I wanted it! I Definitely plan to go back to have my other tattoo ideas done in the near future and I also plan to go back to have the Daith piercing done in the next week or so. Will recommend this place for my friends and family to go to!

The piercers are amazing, however the artist are jerks and terrible. I got a piece done that wasnt anywhere close to the color I wanted. It was suppose to be hot pink and it is red, and not even a consistent red. When the artist completed the tattoo and had me look in the mirror, I asked why it was red instead of pink and he told me it was just irritation and blood. Well.....Its still red! The piece looks so bad and inconsistent I didnt even want to go back up there to have someone fix it. The artist also charged me 300 dollars for a service he was rushing through because he wanted to get to another client. If it wasnt for the piercers I would give it 1 star.

I went in a month in advance and talked about booking a spot on a specific day. They asked me to go home, email them the info because they couldnt write it down.. okay, so I did. I didnt get any kind of reply or call at all, and I got to right before the appointment was supposed to be (a MONTH later) and went somewhere else. I dont think they knew I was supposed to be there! Kinda bummed that I never got confirmation of anything. I guess they have enough clientele that I didnt really matter since I did everything right; called, went in and talked to them and showed the specific artist (whom I CHOSE.. bigger slap to the face...) what I wanted, and emailed.
